Specification and approval of welding procedures for metallic materials - Part 8: Approval by a pre-production welding test

This standard specifies the conditions for approval of welding procedure based on pre-production welding  tests in accordance with EN 288-1. In addition it gives the range of approval and the validity.  This standard is applicable to fusion welding of metallic materials. Any other welding processes can be accepted by agreement between the contracting parties.   The use of this standard can be restricted by an application standard or at the inquiry/order stage by  contracting parties.

Anforderung und Anerkennung von Schweißverfahren für metallische Werkstoffe - Teil 8: Anerkennung durch eine Schweißprüfung vor Fertigungsbeginn

Diese Norm legt die Bedingungen für die Anerkennung eines Schweißverfahrens auf der Grundlage der Schweißprüfung vor Fertigungsbeginn in Überstimmung mitEN 288-1 fest. Zusätzlich sind der Geltungsbereich und die Gültigkeitsdauer angegeben. Diese Norm ist anwendbar für das Schmelzschweißen metallischer Werkstoffe. Irgendwelche anderen Schweißprozesse können durch Vereinbarung zwischen den Vertragspartnern anerkannt werden. Die Anwendung dieser Norm kann durch eine Anwendungsnorm oder durch die Vertragspartner während des Angebots-/Auftragsstadiums eingeschränkt werden.

Descriptif et qualification d'un mode opératoire de soudage pour les matériaux métalliques - Partie 8: Epreuve de qualification par exécution d'un assemblage soudé particulier préalable à la production

La présente norme européenne spécifie les conditions de qualification d'un mode opératoire de soudage par exécution d'assemblages soudés particuliers préalablesà la production conformément à l'EN 288-1. De plus, elle précise le domaine de qualification et les limites de validité. La présente norme européenne est applicable au soudage par fusion des matériaux métalliques. D'autres procédés desoudage peuvent être acceptés par accord entre les parties contractantes.
