Railway applications - Axleboxes - Lubricating greases
This European Standard specifies the quality requirements of greases intended for the lubrication of axlebox rolling bearings according to EN 12080, required for reliable operation of trains on European networks. It covers the approval procedure, the method of quality control and quality monitoring of the grease. The grease requirements are given for two speed classes.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Qualitätsanforderungen an Schmierfette für Wälzlager in Radsatzlagern nach EN 12080 fest, die für einen zuverlässigen Zugbetrieb auf den europäischen Schienennetzen erforderlich sind. Sie beschreibt für diese Schmierfette die Freigabeverfahren, die Verfahren der Qualitätssicherung und der Qualitätsüberwachung. Die Anforderungen an die Schmierfette sind für zwei Lagergeschwindigkeitsklassen angegeben.

La présente Norme européenne définit, pour les graisses destinées aux roulements de boîtes d’essieux selon l’EN 12080, les exigences de qualité requises pour assurer la fiabilité de la circulation des trains sur les réseaux européens. Elle comprend la procédure d’homologation, les modalités de maîtrise et de surveillance de la qualité de la fabrication des graisses. Les prescriptions pour les graisses sont définies pour deux classes de vitesse.
Železniške naprave - Ohišja ležajev kolesnih dvojic - Maziva
Ta evropski standard določa zahteve glede kakovosti maziv, namenjenih mazanju kotalnih ležajev v ohišjih v skladu z EN 1280, potrebne za zanesljivo obratovanje vlakov v evropskem omrežju. Zajema postopek odobritve, metodo za nadzor kakovosti in spremljanje kakovosti maziv. Zahteve za maziva so podane za dva hitrostna razreda.

Bahnanwendungen - Radsatzlager - Schmierfette This European Standard was approved by CEN on 8 December 2007 and includes Amendment 1 approved by CEN on 14 September 2010.
