Vitreous and porcelain enamels - Characteristics of enamel coatings applied to steel panels intended for architecture (ISO 28722:2008)

ISO 28722:2008 specifies the requirements for enamel-coated, plane, cold-rolled, heavy- and light-gauge steel panels intended for interior and exterior architectural use.
It includes the functional and aesthetic characteristics and resistance to graffiti of these panels and the related coatings.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen für emaillierte, ebene, aus kaltgewalztem Stahl hergestellte
Architektur-Paneele starker und leichter Ausführung für Innen- und Außenanwendungen fest.
Sie berücksichtigt die funktionellen und ästhetischen Merkmale sowie die Beständigkeit dieser Paneele und
der entsprechenden Beschichtungen gegen Graffiti.

L'ISO 28722:2008 spécifie les exigences des couches d'émail appliquées sur des panneaux d'acier de faible ou forte épaisseur, plans, laminés à froid et destinés à l'architecture d'intérieur et d'extérieur.
Elle comprend les caractéristiques fonctionnelles et esthétiques ainsi que la résistance aux graffiti de ces panneaux et de leurs revêtements.

Ta mednarodni standard določa zahteve za emajlirane, ravne, hladno valjane, debele in tanke jeklene plošče za notranjo in zunanjo uporabo v arhitekturi. Vključuje funkcionalne in estetske značilnosti, antigrafitne premaze teh plošč in sorodne premaze.

The text of ISO 28722:2008 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107 “Metallic and other
inorganic coatings” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as
EN ISO 28722:2011 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 262 “Metallic and other inorganic coatings” the
secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by September 2011.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 14431:2004.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
