Explosive atmospheres - Part 13: Equipment protection by pressurized room "p"

Applies to rooms and buildings containing electrical apparatus and protected by internal overpressure against the ingress of explosive external atmosphere. Includes recommendations for the construction, equipping and operation of such rooms or buildings and their associated parts. Gives tests to show the conformity with these recommendations and indicates the marking to be placed on the rooms or buildings. This publication has the status of a technical report.

Ta del IEC 60079 podaja zahteve za načrtovanje, konstrukcijo, vrednotenje in preskušanje ter označevanje zaprtih prostorov, ki so zaščiteni z nadtlakom, v: - prostoru, lociranem v eksplozivni atmosferi ali nevarnem območju z eksplozivno prašno atmosfero, ki ne vključuje notranjega vira vnetljive snovi ; - prostoru, lociranem na nevarnem območju z eksplozivno plinsko atmosfero ali eksplozivno prašno atmosfero, ki vključuje notranji vir vnetljive snovi; - prostoru, lociranem na nenevarnem območju, ki vključuje notranji vir vnetljive snovi. Prostor lahko sestoji iz ene sobe, več sob, lahko je celotna stavba ali soba znotraj stavbe ter vključuje vstopne in izstopne odprtine.
