Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures - Definitions, requirements, quality control and evaluation of conformity - Part 2: Surface protection systems for concrete

This document specifies requirements for the identification, performance (including durability aspects), safety
and evaluation of conformity of products and systems to be used for surface protection of concrete, to
increase the durability of concrete and reinforced concrete structures, as well as for new concrete and for
maintenance and repair work.
The surface protective methods covered by this document are the following:
 hydrophobic impregnation;
 impregnation;
 coating.
Flooring systems in buildings which are not intended to protect or reinstate the integrity of a concrete structure
are standardised in EN 13813.
When products and systems complying with this standard are used in flooring applications that involve
substantial mechanical loading, they should also satisfy the requirements of EN 13813.

Produkte und Systeme für den Schutz und die Instandsetzung von Betontragwerken - Definitionen, Anforderungen, Qualitätsüberwachung und Beurteilung der Konformität - Teil 2: Oberflächenschutzsysteme für Beton

Dieser Teil der prEN 1504 legt Anforderungen an die Identität, die Leistung (einschließlich Aspekten der Dauerhaftigkeit), die Sicherheit und die Beurteilung der Konformität von Produkten und Systemen fest, die für den Oberflächenschutz von Beton, zur Verbesserung der Dauerhaftigkeit von Beton? und Stahlbetontragwerken sowie für neuen Beton und für Instandhaltungs? und Instandsetzungsarbeiten angewendet werden.
In der vorliegenden Norm werden folgende Oberflächenschutzverfahren behandelt:
-   hydrophobierende Imprägnierung;
-   Imprägnierung;
-   Beschichtung.
In Gebäuden verwendete Bodenbelagssysteme, die nicht dafür vorgesehen sind, die Dauerhaftigkeit eines Betontragwerkes zu schützen oder wiederherzustellen, sind in EN 13813 genormt.
Werden Produkte und Systeme, die dieser Norm entsprechen, als Bodenbelagssysteme angewendet, die wesentlichen mechanischen Beanspruchungen ausgesetzt sind, müssen sie auch die Anforderungen der EN 13813 erfüllen.

La présente norme spécifie les prescriptions pour l'identification, les performances (y compris les aspects de durabilité) et la sécurité des produits et systemes devant etre utilisés pour la protection de surface du béton, afin d'augmenter la durabilité du béton et des structures en béton armé, aussi bien pour un nouveau béton que pour des travaux de maintenance et réparation. Par conséquent, cette norme inclut également des propriétés particuleres en plus des mesures de p protection de surface.
