1.1   This Part of EN 10263 is applicable to round rod and bars and wire with a diameter up to and including 100 mm, of non-alloy and alloy steel, intended for cold heading and cold extrusion without subsequent heat treatment on the final components.
1.2   prEN 10263-1:2013 is indispensable for this Part of EN 10263.

1.1   La présente partie 2 de l'EN 10263 s'applique aux barres rondes, au fil machine de section ronde, et au fil ayant un diamètre inférieur ou égal à 100 mm, en acier allié et non allié, destinés à des opérations de transformation à froid (frappe à froid) et d'extrusion à froid, sans faire subir ensuite de traitement thermique au produit final.
1.2   La partie 1 de la norme prEN 10263 de 2013 est un complément indispensable pour cette partie de l’EN 10263.
