This European Standard specifies the required characteristics of a light weight coaxial cable, 50 Ω,
type KX for use in aircraft electrical systems at operating temperature between − 55 °C and 200 °C and
specially for high frequency up to 6 GHz. Nevertheless, if needed, − 65 °C is also acceptable as shown
by rapid change of temperature test.

Ta evropski standard določa zahtevane značilnosti lahkega koaksialnega kabla, 50 Ω, tipa KW za uporabo v letalskih električnih sistemih pri delovni temperaturi med −55 °C in 200 °C ter posebej za visoko frekvenco do 6 GHz. Kljub temu je po potrebi sprejemljiva tudi temperatura −65 °C, kot prikazuje preskus s hitro spremembo temperature.
