E13 - Molecular Spectroscopy and Separation Science
Committee shall be the advancement of the fields of analysis to include molecular spectroscopy and separation science. These disciplines involve absorption, luminescence, scattering, and polarization of radiant energy; nuclear magnetic resonance; and the field of chromatography, and mass spectrometry. Advancement of these fields is accomplished by sponsoring meetings and symposia for presentation of papers, by standardizing terminology relating to analysis for molecular spectroscopy and separation science, and by coordinating and formulating scientific practices and methods of analysis. The work of the Committee will be coordinated with other ASTM committtees and other organizations having mutual interest.
