Latest Standards

IEC 60364-8-82:2022 provides requirements and recommendations that apply to low-voltage electrical installations connected or not to a distribution network able to operate:
– with local power supplies, and/or
– with local storage units,
and that monitors and controls the energy from the locally connected sources delivering it to:
– current-using equipment, and/or
– local storage units, and/or
– distribution networks.
Such electrical installations are designated as prosumer's electrical installations (PEIs).
These requirements and recommendations apply to new installations and modifications of existing installations.
This document also provides requirements and recommendations for the safe, efficient and correct behaviour of these installations when integrated into a smart grid.
Information related to grid interaction to ensure the stability of the electrical system for grid connected PEIs is given in Annex B.
This document covers the requirements related to stability of islanded and stand-alone PEIs.
This first edition cancels and replaces IEC 60364-8-2 published in 2018. This edition constitutes a technical revision.
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to IEC 60364­8­2:2018:
a) the vocabulary and concepts have been aligned as much as possible with those used by TC 8 and SC 8B, taking notably into account the IEC 62898 and IEC 62786 series, still respecting the installers mindset (installers being the first users of the IEC 60364 series and being used to only refer to the IEC 60364 series);
b) the type of system earthing and the change of type of system earthing (sequencing) when there is a change of mode of the prosuming installation, have been clarified;
c) the conditions of connection and disconnection from the DSO network have also been described, both from the safety point of view and the proper functioning point of view;
d) additional requirements have been introduced;
e) the figures have been updated;
f) a new normative Annex D on single dwelling or similar application islandable PEIs has been added;
g) the numbering has also been reviewed to follow the updated numbering system of the IEC 60364 series, in line with the IEC Directives and compatible with Parts 7.

This document provides a methodology for calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the semiconductor and display industry. This document includes the manufacture of semiconductor devices, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), photovoltaic (PV) devices and displays. This document allows to report GHG emissions for various purposes and on different bases, such as a per-plant basis, per-company basis (by country or by region) or an international group basis. This document addresses all of the following direct and indirect sources of GHG:
— direct GHG emissions [as defined in ISO 14064-1:2018, 5.2.4 a)] from sources that are owned or controlled by the company, such as emissions resulting from the following sources:
— process: fluorinated compound (FC) gases and nitrous oxide (N2O) used in etching and wafer cleaning (EWC), remote plasma cleaning (RPC), in situ plasma cleansing (IPC), in situ thermal cleaning (ITC), N2O thin film deposition (TFD), and other N2O using process;
— fuel combustion related to equipment and on-site vehicles, room heating/cooling;
— fuel combustion of fuels for on-site power generation;
— indirect GHG emissions [as defined in ISO 14064-1:2018, 5.2.4 b)] from the generation of imported electricity, heat or steam consumed by the organization.
Other indirect GHG emissions [as defined in ISO 14064-1:2018, 5.2.4 c) to f)], which are the consequence of an organization’s activities, but arise from GHG sources that are owned or controlled by other organizations, are excluded from this document.

This document specifies computational methods for determining the acoustical source level of projectile sound and its one-third octave band spectrum, expressed as the sound exposure level for nominal mid-band frequencies from 12,5 Hz to 10 kHz. It also specifies a method on how to use this source level to calculate the sound exposure level at a receiver position. Results obtained with this document can be used as a basis for assessment of projectile sound from shooting ranges. Additionally, the data can be used to determine sound emission or immission from different types of ammunition and weapons. The prediction methods are applicable to outdoor conditions and straight projectile trajectories. Two computational methods are given to determine the acoustical source level: one for streamlined projectile shapes and one for non-streamlined shapes, such as pellets.

Field devices are a key component in intelligent transport systems (ITS). Field devices include traffic signals, message signs, weather stations, traffic sensors, roadside equipment for connected ITS environments, etc. The ISO 26048 series defines data that can be used to manage field devices, including device configuration, control and monitoring. Field devices can be quite complex, necessitating the standardization of many data concepts for exchange. As such, the ISO 26048 series is divided into several individual parts. This document (ISO/TS 26048-1) introduces the ISO 26048 series, provides content that is normatively referenced in subsequent parts, and defines data that is applicable to the management of a wide range of field devices. The scope of the ISO 26048 series does not define the logic used by the management station, the underlying protocols used to exchange the defined data elements, or internal design of the field device. However, the ISO 26048 series does define functional requirements on the interface and assumes an interface based on an SNMPv3 environment as specified by ISO 15784-2.
