IEC TR 63362-1:2022(E) establishes guidelines for the application and use of aluminium electrolytic capacitors in electronic equipment.
The information given in this document applies to capacitors with non-solid electrolyte but can, in its appropriate clauses, apply to capacitors with solid electrolyte as well.
Electrolytic capacitors in general – and aluminium electrolytic capacitors in particular – are an exception in the capacitor field because of the components’ close interaction of physics and chemistry. Therefore, aluminium electrolytic capacitors show, in various aspects, a technical behaviour unaccustomed to the user. That could easily lead to misapplications and even to endangering of persons and goods. The aim of this document is to minimize these risks by providing detailed information on the specific peculiarities of the component.
This first edition cancels and replaces CLC/TR 50454 published in 2008. This edition constitutes a technical revision.
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
Complete technical revision, details of cleaning processes and failure modes added.
Inclusion of parts of JEITA RCR 2367D.

IEC TR 63396:2021(E) documents a method for the sound pressure level measurement on power capacitor units, by which the sound power level of power capacitor units is determined.
This method is applicable to shunt capacitor units and AC filter capacitor units for AC power systems with a nominal voltage of 1 kV and above and a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
This method also applies to the DC filter capacitor units.
Other measurements on power capacitor units can be implemented with reference to this method.

ISO/IEC PAS 16898:2012 specifies a designation system as well as the shapes and dimensions for secondary lithium-ion cells for integration into battery packs and systems used in electrically propelled road vehicles including the position of the terminals and any over-pressure safety device (OPSD). It is related to cylindrical, prismatic and pouch cells.
The cell designation according to ISO/IEC PAS 16898:2012 is intended to be applied to the cells used for electrically propelled road vehicles. ISO/IEC PAS 16898:2012 does not apply to cells specifically used for mopeds, motorcycles and vehicles not primarily defined as road vehicles, i.e. material handling trucks or forklifts.
The cell dimensions listed in ISO/IEC PAS 16898:2012 are recommended but not restricted for use in passenger cars up to 3,5 t.
The inner design, the cell chemistry, the electrical characteristics and any further properties of the cells are not defined in ISO/IEC PAS 16898:2012.

Solid-liquid phase-change materials (PCM) are a favoured approach to spacecraft passive thermal control for incident orbital heat fluxes or when there are wide fluctuations in onboard equipment.
The PCM thermal control system consists of a container which is filled with a substance capable of undergoing a phase-change. When there is an the increase in surface temperature of spacecraft the PCM absorbs the excess heat by melting. If there is a temperature decrease, then the PCM can provide heat by solidifying.
Many types of PCM systems are used in spacecrafts for different types of thermal transfer control.
Characteristics and performance of phase control materials are described in this Part. Existing PCM systems are also described.

ISO 15118-1:2019 This document, as a basis for the other parts of the ISO 15118 series, specifies terms and definitions, general requirements and use cases for conductive and wireless HLC between the EVCC and the SECC.
This document is applicable to HLC involved in conductive and wireless power transfer technologies in the context of manual or automatic connection devices.
This document is also applicable to energy transfer either from EV supply equipment to charge the EV battery or from EV battery to EV supply equipment in order to supply energy to home, to loads or to the grid.
This document provides a general overview and a common understanding of aspects influencing identification, association, charge or discharge control and optimisation, payment, load levelling, cybersecurity and privacy. It offers an interoperable EV-EV supply equipment interface to all e-mobility actors beyond SECC.
The ISO 15118 series does not specify the vehicle internal communication between battery and other internal equipment (beside some dedicated message elements related to the energy transfer).
NOTE 1 Electric road vehicles specifically are vehicles in categories M (used for carriage of passengers) and N (used for carriage of goods) (compare ECE/TR ANS/WP.29/78 ev.2). This does not prevent vehicles in other categories from adopting the ISO 15118 series as well.
NOTE 2 This document is destined to orientate the message set of ISO 15118‑2 and ISO 15118‑20[1]. The absence of any particular use case in this document does not imply that it will not be put into practice, with the required messages.
NOTE 3 This document, ISO 15118‑2 and ISO 15118‑20 are designed to work independent of data transfer medium used. However, the ISO 15118 series is made for fitting the specified data link layers in the corresponding documents in this series.

IEC 60384-17:2019 is available as IEC 60384-17:2019 RLV which contains the International Standard and its Redline version, showing all changes of the technical content compared to the previous edition.
IEC 60384-17:2019 applies to fixed capacitors with metallized electrodes and polypropylene dielectric for use in electronic equipment. Capacitors that have mixed film and metallized electrodes are also within the scope of this standard. These capacitors may have "self-healing" properties depending on conditions of use. Capacitors covered by this specification are mainly intended for use with alternating voltage and/or for pulse applications. The maximum reactive power applicable is 10 000 var and the maximum peak voltage is 3 000 V. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) all parts of the document have been revised based on the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2:2016 (seventh edition) and harmonization between other similar kinds of documents;
b) tables and Clause 4 have been revised so as to prevent duplications and contradictions;
c) new damp heat steady-state robustness classes with test conditions have been added in text, in Clause 4 and in Annex A.
The contents of the corrigendum of December 2020 have been included in this copy.

IEC TS 60904-1-2:2019 describes procedures for the measurement of the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of bifacial photovoltaic devices in natural or simulated sunlight. It is applicable to single PV cells, sub-assemblies of such cells or entire PV modules.
This document may be applicable to PV devices designed for use under concentrated irradiation if they are measured without the optics for concentration, and irradiated using direct normal irradiance and a mismatch correction with respect to a direct normal reference spectrum is performed. This document describes the additional requirements for the measurement of I-V characteristics of bifacial PV devices.

IEC/IEEE 60255-118-1:2018 is used for synchronized phasor measurement systems in power systems. It defines a synchronized phasor (synchrophasor), frequency, and rate of change of frequency measurements. It describes time tag and synchronization requirements for measurement of all three of these quantities. It specifies methods for evaluating these measurements and requirements for compliance with the standard under both static and dynamic conditions. It defines a phasor measurement unit (PMU), which can be a stand-alone physical unit or a functional unit within another physical unit. This document does not specify hardware, software or a method for computing phasors, frequency, or rate of change of frequency.
