Welding coordination - Tasks and responsibilities (ISO 14731:2006)

ISO 14731:2006 identifies the quality-related responsibilities and tasks included in the coordination of welding-related activities.
In any manufacturing organization, welding coordination can be undertaken by one or a number of persons.
Welding coordination requirements can be specified by a manufacturer, a contract or an application standard.

Schweißaufsicht - Aufgaben und Verantwortung (ISO 14731:2006)

Diese Internationale Norm legt die qualitätsbezogene Verantwortung und die Aufgaben, einschließlich der Koordinierung der schweißtechnischen Tätigkeiten, fest.
In jeder Herstellerorganisation kann die Schweißaufsicht durch eine oder mehrere Personen ausgeübt werden.
Anforderungen an die Schweißaufsicht können durch einen Hersteller, einen Vertrag oder durch eine Anwendungsnorm festgelegt werden.

L'ISO 14731:2006 identifie les tâches et responsabilités relatives à la qualité qui entrent dans le cadre de la coordination des activités liées au soudage.
Dans les organisations de fabrication, la coordination en soudage peut être confiée à une seule personne ou à plusieurs personnes.
Les exigences relatives à la coordination en soudage peuvent être spécifiées par un fabricant, un contrat ou une norme d'application.

This document (EN ISO 14731:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 121
"Welding", the secretariat of which is held by DIN, in collaboration with Technical Committee
ISO/TC 44 "Welding and allied processes".

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2007, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by April 2007.

This document supersedes EN 719:1994.

According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium,
