Safety of machinery - Permanent means of access to machinery - Part 2: Working platforms and walkways (ISO 14122-2:2001)

This standard applies to all machinery (stationary and mobile) where fixed means of access are necessary. This standard applies to working platforms and walkways which are an integral part of a machine. This standard could also apply to working platforms and walkways to that part of the building where the machine is installed, providing the main function of that part of the building is to provide a means of access to the machine. NOTE: This standard may be used in other conditions of use, but to respect the National regulations.

Diese Norm gilt für alle Maschinen (stationäre und mobile), für die orstfeste Zugänge erforderlich sind. Diese Norm gilt für Arbeitsbühnen und Laufstege, die Bestandteil einer Maschine sind. Diese Norm kann auch für Arbeitsbühnen und Laufstege angewendet werden, die Teil des Gebäudes sind, in dem die Maschine aufgestellt ist, wobei die Hauptfunktion dieses Gebäudeteils darin besteht, den Zugang zu der Maschine zu ermöglichen. ANMERKUNG: Diese Norm darf auch unter anderen Einsatzbedingungen angewendet werden, jedoch unter Beachtung der nationalen Vorschriften.

L'ISO 14122 définit les prescriptions générales de sécurité d'accès aux machines mentionnées dans l'EN 292-2. La partie 1 de l'ISO 14122 donne des recommandations concernant le choix approprié des moyens d'accès lorsque l'accès nécessaire à la machine n'est pas directement possible à partir du niveau du sol ou d'un plancher. La présente partie de l'ISO 14122 s'applique à toutes les machines (fixes ou mobiles) où des moyens d'accès fixes sont nécessaires. La présente partie de l'ISO 14122 s'applique aux plates-formes de travail et aux passerelles qui sont partie intégrante d'une machine. La présente partie de l'ISO 14122 peut s'appliquer également aux plates-formes de travail et aux passerelles donnant accès aux parties du bâtiment où la machine est installée, à condition que la fonction principale de cette partie du bâtiment soit de donner accès à la machine.
NOTE La présente partie de l'ISO 14122 peut être utilisée également pour les moyens d'accès qui sont hors du domaine d'application de la présente partie de l'ISO 14122. Dans ce cas, il convient de tenir compte des éventuelles réglementations nationales ou autres. La présente partie de l'ISO 14122 s'applique également aux plates-formes de travail et aux passerelles spécifiques à la machine qui ne sont pas fixées de façon permanente sur la machine et qui peuvent être démontées ou déplacées sur le côté pour certaines opérations sur la machine (par exemple pour changer les outils d'une grande presse). La présente partie de l'ISO 14122 ne s'applique pas aux ascenseurs ou aux plates-formes élévatrices mobiles spécialement conçues pour soulever les personnes ou aux autres dispositifs spécifiques.
