Fireplaces for liquid fuels - Decorative appliances producing a flame using alcohol based or gelatinous fuel - Use in private households

This European Standard applies for decorative fireplaces/appliances for domestic use, producing a flame using alcohol, hereafter referred to as fuel, in liquid or gelatinous fuel for decoration.
NOTE 1   The requirements are strictly applied even when used in other areas. Outside the private household and outdoor area can apply more or different rules on the use of the appliances.
This European Standard applies to free-standing, wall-mounted and built-in appliances with a maximum power output of 4,5 kW.
This European Standard applies for appliances ready for use, whose burner is of one unit or are an integral component of the appliances but not for appliances with a fuel tank separate from the appliance.
This European Standard does not apply for appliances specifically designed for heating food or keeping food warm (rechauds), as well as for appliances for use in boats, caravans, other vehicles or outdoor areas.
This European Standard does not apply for appliances with a power output higher than 4,5 kW or with a defined heating function.
NOTE 2   National regulation may restrict the power output to less than 4,5 kW.

Dieses Dokument gilt für dekorative Feuerstellen/Geräte für die Nutzung im privaten Haushaltsbereich, die unter Verwendung eines auf Alkohol basierenden flüssigen oder gelförmigen Brennstoffes eine Flamme erzeugen.
ANMERKUNG   Die Anforderungen sind grundsätzlich auch bei Anwendung in anderen Aufstellbereichen anzuwenden. Außerhalb des privaten Haushaltbereiches und im Freien können aber weiterführende bzw. andere Regelungen auf die Verwendung der Geräte zutreffen.
Dieses Dokument gilt für freistehende, Wand- und Einbaugeräte mit einer maximalen Leistung von 4,5 kW.
Dieses Dokument gilt für verwendungsfertige Geräte, deren Brenner aus einer Einheit bestehen und das Gerät bilden oder integraler Bestandteil des Gerätes sind, nicht jedoch für Geräte mit separatem Brenn¬stofftank.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Geräte zum Erwärmen oder Warmhalten von Speisen (Rechauds), sowie für Geräte zur Verwendung in Booten, Wohnwagen und sonstigen Fahrzeugen.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Geräte mit einer Heizleistung über 4,5 kW.

Foyers pour combustibles liquides - Appareils décoratifs produisant une flamme à l'aide de combustible à base d'alcool ou de combustible gélifié - Utilisation domestique

La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux foyers et appareils décoratifs destinés à une utilisation domestique, produisant une flamme en utilisant de l'alcool, désigné ci-après « combustible », sous forme liquide ou gélifiée, pour répondre à des fins de décoration.
NOTE 1   Ces exigences sont appliquées de manière stricte même en cas d'utilisation dans d'autres espaces. Il peut s'appliquer plus de règles ou des règles différentes pour l'utilisation de ces appareils en dehors du domicile et en espace extérieur.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux appareils montés sur pied, aux appareils à fixation murale et aux appareils intégrés d'une puissance maximale de 4,5 kW.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux appareils prêts à l'emploi, dont le brûleur est d'un seul tenant ou fait partie intégrante de l'appareil. Il ne s'applique pas aux appareils fonctionnant à l'aide d'un réservoir de combustible indépendant.
La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux appareils destinés à cuire la nourriture ou à la maintenir au chaud (réchauds), ni aux appareils destinés à être utilisés à bord de bateaux, de caravanes et autres véhicules, ou dans des espaces extérieurs.
La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux appareils d'une puissance supérieure à 4,5 kW ou assurant une fonction de chauffage définie.
NOTE 2   La législation nationale peut limiter la puissance à moins de 4,5 kW.

Ta dokument se uporablja za dekorativne kamine/naprave za domačo uporabo, ki proizvajajo plamen z alkoholom, v nadaljnjem besedilu gorivo, v obliki tekočega ali želatinastega goriva za dekoracijo.
OPOMBA Te zahteve se strogo uporablja tudi na drugih področjih. Zunaj zasebnih gospodinjstev in na zunanjih površinah se lahko uporablja več pravil ali različna pravila glede uporabe naprav.
Ta dokument se uporablja za prostostoječe, stenske in vgradne naprave z največjo izhodno močjo 4,5 kW.
Ta dokument se uporablja za naprave, pripravljene za uporabo, katerih gorilnik je samostojna enota ali pa so sestavni del drugih naprav, ne pa za naprave z ločenim rezervoarjem za gorivo.
