Unbound and hydraulically bound mixtures - Part 53: Methods for the manufacture of test specimens of hydraulically bound mixtures using axial compression

This document specifies a test method for making cylindrical specimens of hydraulically bound mixtures to a predetermined density and moisture content by axial compression. This document applies to mixtures, or that part of a mixture, containing aggregate up to a maximum size of 22,4 mm, and for mixtures that have sufficient fines or cohesion to allow extrusion without damage immediately after compaction.

Ungebundene und hydraulisch gebundene Gemische - Teil 53: Verfahren zur Herstellung von Probekörpern von hydraulisch gebundenen Gemischen durch axialen Druck

Diese Europäische Norm legt das Verfahren fest, nach dem zylindrische Probekörper mit bestimmten, zuvor festgelegten Werten für Dichte und Wassergehalt herzustellen sind. Das Verfahren ist für die Gemische oder den Teil eines Gemisches mit Korngrößen von maximal 22 mm sowie für Gemische mit ausreichendem Feinkorn oder ausreichender ¿Kohäsion' geeignet, so dass der Prüfkörper nicht beschädigt wird, wenn er unmittelbar nach dem Verdichten aus der Form entnommen wird.

Ce document décrit la méthode de fabrication, par compression axiale, d'éprouvettes cylindriques de masse volumique apparente et de teneur en eau prédéfinies. Cette méthode s'applique aux mélanges ou à la partie d'un mélange contenant des granulats d'une dimension maximale de 22,4 mm, ainsi qu'aux mélanges disposant d'une quantité de fines ou d'une cohésion suffisantes pour permettre une extrusion sans détérioration immédiatement après le compactage.
