Adhesives, phenolic and aminoplastic, for load-bearing timber structures - Classification and performance requirements
This European standard establishes a classification for phenolic and aminoplastic polycondensation adhesives according to their suitability for use for load bearing timber structures in defined climatic exposure conditions, and specifies performance requirements for such adhesives for the manufacture of load-bearing timber structures only. The performance requirements of this standard apply to the adhesive only, not to the structure.

Diese Europäische Norm legt eine Klassifizierung für Polykondensationsklebstoffe auf Phenoplast- und Aminoplast-Basis fest; entsprechend ihrer Eignung zum Einsatz für tragende Holzbauteile unter definierten Klimabedingungen und spezifiziert die Leistungsanforderungen für derartige Klebstoffe nur zur Herstellung von tragenden Holzbauteilen. Die Leistungsanforderungen dieser Norm gelten nur für den Klebstoff, nicht für das Bauteil.

Cette norme européenne présente une classification des adhésifs de polycondensation de nature phénolique et aminoplaste en fonction de leur aptitude à l'emploi en structures en bois à fonction portante dans diverses conditions d'exposition climatique; elle spécifie les exigences de performance applicables à ces adhésifs destinés à la fabrication de structures en bois à fonction portante uniquement. Les exigences de performances de cette norme ne s'appliquent qu'à l'adhésif et non à la structure.
