Inland navigation vessels - Connections for the discharge of waste water

This European standard specifies design, dimensions, technical requirements and testing of connections for the discharge of waste water from inland navigation vessels. The Standard specifies: - a connection of a design that is common on inland navigation vessels consisting of a threaded pipe and a quick release coupling; - a connection for vessels with flange ISO 7608-B1 consisting of a flitting flange with welded threaded pipe and quick release coupling.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Bauart, Maße, technische Anforderungen und Prüfung von Anschlüssen für die Abgabe von Abwasser von Fahrzeugen der Binnenschiffahrt fest. Die Norm legt fest: - einen Anschluß in der für Binnenschiffe üblichen Ausführung, bestehend aus Gewindestutzen und Schnellkupplung; - einen Anschluß für Schiffe mit Flansch ISO 7608-B1, bestehend aus dazu passendem Flansch mit angeschweißstem Gewindestutzen mit Schnellkupplung.

Cette norme européenne spécifie la conception, les dimensions, les exigences techniques et l'essai des raccords destinés à l'évacuation des eaux usées des bateaux de navigation intérieure. La norme spécifie: - un raccord de conception courante sur les bateaux de navigation intérieure composé d'un raccord fileté et d'un accouplement rapide; - un raccord conçu pour les navires avec bride ISO 7608-B1, qui consiste en une bride adaptée avec raccord fileté soudé et raccord d'accouplement rapide.

On well-anchored maritime structures, this European Standard applies to pipes and fittings of longitudinally welded stainless steel pipe with spigot and socket used in drainage systems in the accommodation area.
Pipes and fittings according to this European Standard may also be used in central vacuum cleaning installations, in vacuum suction lifting installations, in chip transporting installations and in other waste water and process pipes as long as the media to be discharged do not damage the components or the health and safety of the personnel.
For other pipes, this European Standard only applies if agreed with the relevant operators and following prior consultation with the manufacturer.
This European Standard contains a designation system for the different types of pipes and fittings for easy identification of each component.
This European Standard is only applicable in conjunction with EN 1124-1.
