This document specifies the characteristics of metallic and non-metallic geotextiles and geotextile-related products used in the construction of pavements and asphalt overlays and the appropriate test methods to determine these characteristics.
The intended use of these geotextiles and geotextile-related products is to fulfil one or more of the following functions: reinforcement, stress relief and interlayer barrier. The use of geotextiles and geotextile-related products is to be considered as a part of an interlayer and asphalt overlay system.
This document is not applicable to geosynthetic barriers, as defined in EN ISO 10318.
This standard provides for the assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP) of the product to this European Standard including factory production control procedures.
This document defines characteristics to be considered with regard to the presentation of performance.

Dieses Dokument legt die Eigenschaften von metallischen und nicht metallischen Geotextilien und geotextilverwandten Produkten, die beim Bau von Fahrbahndecken und Asphaltdeckschichten verwendet werden, sowie die geeigneten Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung dieser Eigenschaften fest.
Die bestimmungsgemäße Anwendung dieser Geotextilien und geotextilverwandten Produkte besteht in der Erfüllung einer oder mehrerer der folgenden Funktionen: Bewehren, Spannungsentlastung und Zwischenschicht-Abdeckung. Géotextiles et produits apparentés - Caractéristiques requises pour l'utilisation en chaussées et revêtements asphaltiques

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques applicables des géotextiles (métalliques ou non) et produits apparentés utilisés dans la construction de chaussées et de revêtements asphaltiques et les méthodes d’essai appropriées pour la détermination de ces caractéristiques.
L’utilisation prévue de ces géotextiles et produits apparentés est de satisfaire l’une ou plusieurs des fonctions suivantes : le renforcement, la réduction des contraintes et l’utilisation en tant que barrière inter-couches. L’utilisation de géotextiles et produits apparentés doit être considérée comme faisant partie d’un complexe inter-couches et de revêtement asphaltique.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas aux géomembranes définies par l’EN ISO 10318.
La présente norme fournit les informations nécessaires à l’évaluation et à la vérification de la constance des performances (EVCP) du produit selon la présente norme européenne ainsi que les procédures de contrôle de la production en usine.

This document specifies design, type test methods, marking and instruction requirements for cylinder valves with integrated pressure regulators (VIPRs) intended to be fitted to gas cylinders, pressure drums or tubes or used as a main valve for bundles of cylinders that convey compressed, liquefied or dissolved gases.
These are requirements for VIPRs that are in addition to those given in the relevant closure standard, for example, in ISO 10297 for cylinder valves, in ISO 17871 for quick-release cylinder valves, in ISO 17879 for self-closing cylinder valves or in ISO 23826 for ball valves. For ISO 17871, these requirements are only applicable to quick-release cylinder valves types B, C, D and E.
NOTE 1        If the pressure regulating system of a VIPR is acting as the primary valve operating mechanism, it is covered by the relevant closure standard, e.g. ISO 10297, ISO 17871, ISO 17879 and ISO 23826. This also includes designs where closure of the primary valve operating mechanism of a VIPR is obtained by closing the seat of the pressure regulating system.
NOTE 2        If the primary valve operating mechanism of a VIPR is located at the low-pressure side of the pressure regulating system, it is covered by the relevant closure standard, e.g. ISO 10297, ISO 17871, ISO 17879 and ISO 23826.
NOTE 3        The term “pressure receptacle” is used within this document to cover instances where no differentiation is necessary between gas cylinders, bundles of cylinders, pressure drums and tubes.
This document does not apply to VIPRs for
a)       medical applications (see ISO 10524-3);
b)       liquefied petroleum gas (LPG);
c)        cryogenic applications.
