To harmonize the standard under the MID, 2004/22/EC. The Target dates have been shortened in order to meet the enforcement date of the MID.

Der dritte Absatz ist zu streichen und wie folgt zu ersetzen:
Die vorliegende Norm gilt für Zähler an Standorten, an denen unbedeutende Schwingungen und Erschütterungen auftreten können, sowie an
geschlossenen Standorten (innen oder außen mit dem vom Hersteller vorgeschriebenen Schutz) mit oder ohne Betauung
oder, bei entsprechender Angabe durch den Hersteller,
offenen Standorten (außen ohne Abdeckung) mit oder ohne Betauung
sowie an Standorten mit elektromagnetischen Störungen.
Der folgende vierte Absatz ist neu einzufügen:
Soweit in dieser Norm nicht anders angegeben:
sind alle dargestellten Drücke als Überdrücke zu verstehen;
werden alle Einflussgrößen außer der geprüften Einflussgröße relativ konstant bei ihrem Referenzwert gehalten.

Supprimer le troisième paragraphe et le remplacer par ce qui suit :
La présente norme s'applique aux compteurs installés dans des endroits où les vibrations et les chocs sont peu importants et :
dans des endroits fermés (à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur avec la protection spécifiée par le fabricant) avec ou sans condensation d'humidité ;
ou, si le constructeur le spécifie,
dans des endroits ouverts (à l'extérieur sans protection) avec ou sans condensation d'humidité ;
ainsi que dans des endroits avec interférences électromagnétiques.
Insérer ce qui suit comme nouveau quatrième paragraphe :
Sauf spécification contraire dans la présente norme :
toutes les pressions sont des pressions relatives ;
toutes les grandeurs d'influence, sauf celle qui est soumise à l'essai, sont maintenues constantes à leur valeur de référence.

This amendment A1 modifies the European Standard EN 12480:2002; it was approved by CEN on 20 March 2006.
CEN members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for inclusion of this
amendment into the relevant national standard without any alteration. Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such
national standards may be obtained on application to the Central Secretariat or to any CEN member.
This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language made by translation under the
responsibility of a CEN member into its own language and notified to the Central Secretariat has the same status as the official versions.

Foreword
This document (EN 12480:2002/A1:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 237 “Gas
meters”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This Amendment to the European Standard EN 12480:2002 shall be given the status of a national standard,
either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2006, and conflicting
national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2006.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive 2004/22, Measuring
Instruments Directive (MID).
