Personal protective equipment for work positioning and prevention of falls from a height - Work positioning systems

This standard specifies requirements, testing and the marking, labelling and packaging of systems intended for work positioning and support of the worker at a height including the prevention of a free fall. A work positioning system is not meant to be used for fall arrest.

Diese Norm legt Anforderungen, Prüfungen, Kennzeichnung und Verpackung für Systeme fest, die bei Haltefunktionen und dem Halten eines Arbeiters in der Höhe einschliesslich der Verhinderung eines freien Falls benutzt werden. Ein Haltesystem ist nicht zur Benutzung für Auffangzwecke bestimmt.

La présente norme spécifie les exigences, les méthodes d'essai, le marquage, l'étiquettage et l'emballage des systèmes de maintien au travail destinés à soutenir le travailleur en hauteur et à l'empêcher de tomber en chute libre. Un système de maintien au travail ne doit pas être utilisé pour l'arrêt des chutes.
