Luminaires - Part 2-13: Particular requirements - Ground recessed luminaires

This Part 2 of IEC 60598 specifies requirements for ground recessed luminaires incorporating electric light sources for operation from supply voltages up to 1 000 V, for indoor or outdoor use, e.g. in gardens, yards, carriageways, parking lots, cycleways, footways, pedestrian areas, swimming pools areas outside zones for SELV, nurseries and similar applications.

La présente Partie 2 de la CEI 60598 spécifie les exigences applicables aux luminaires encastrés dans le sol incorporant des sources lumineuses électriques fonctionnant à une tension d'alimentation ne dépassant pas 1 000 V, pour applications intérieures et extérieures telles que jardins, jardins privatifs, voies de passage, parkings, pistes cyclables, passages piétons, zones piétonnes, zones environnantes des piscines à l'exclusion des zones pour TBTS, nurseries et applications similaires.

Ta 2. del standarda IEC 60598 določa zahteve za talne vgradne svetilke, ki zajemajo električne svetlobne vire z napajanjem z omrežnimi napetostmi do 1000 V za notranjo in zunanjo uporabo, npr. na vrtovih, dvoriščih, voziščih, parkiriščih, kolesarskih stezah, sprehajalnih poteh, območjih plavalnih bazenov zunaj predelov za SELV, rastlinjakih in podobno. Ta del ne zajema talnih vgradnih svetilk za ceste za motorna vozila in letališča, ki so že opredeljene v standardu IEC 61827.

The text of document 34D/856/FDIS, future edition 1 of IEC 60598-2-13, prepared by SC 34D,
Luminaires, of IEC TC 34, Lamps and related equipment, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel
vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 60598-2-13 on 2006-07-01.
This European Standard should be used in conjunction with the latest edition of and any amendments to
EN 60598-1: Luminaires – Part 1: General requirements and tests.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2007-04-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2009-07-01
The contents of the corrigendum of December 2006 have been included in this copy.
