548.7.5 Utilisation de prises de terre locales pour des raisons fonctionnelles
Remarques introductives
a) Pour diverses raisons, la mise en oeuvre d'une prise de terre complémentaire locale, ou
d'un ensemble de prises de terre complémentaires locales, est souvent prescrite pour le
fonctionnement de matériels de technologie d'information, MTI. Par exemple une mise à la
terre associée à une antenne de transmetteur radiophonique peut être une raison de mise à la
terre fonctionnelle complémentaire.
b) Certains défauts apparaissant sur l'alimentation créent une élévation du potentiel sur la
borne principale de terre pouvant entraîner un écoulement excessif de courant dans les
conducteurs de protection et de transmission des signaux du bâtiment vers les prises de terre
locales fonctionnelles. Voir la CEI 60364-4-442.
