Railway applications - Tank wagons - Part 5: Top devices for bottom emptying and top filling of liquid products

This European Standard applies to top devices of tank wagons fitted for bottom emptying only and used for liquid substances of classes 3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 8 and 9 of RID. This European Standard defines the important dimensions and arrangements for the connections of such tank wagons. To take account of the loading gauge restrictions within Great Britain, this standard does not apply to tank wagons operating exclusively therein.
