Railway applications - Tank wagons - Part 4: Devices for top filling and emptying of liquid products

This European Standard is applicable to top devices of tank wagons used for liquid substances of RID carried in the liquid state and able to be top filled and emptied. Safety functions of these devices are subject to RID requirements and not described in this document.
This European Standard specifies the type of equipment which is fitted on the top of such tank wagons and the important dimensions for their connections.
This standard applies to new tank wagons build after the 1st January 2010.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für die oberen Befüll- und Entleereinrichtungen von Kesselwagen, die für den Transport von flüssigen Stoffen des RID geeignet sind. Sicherheitsfunktionen dieser Einrichtungen unterliegen den Anforderungen der RID und werden in diesem Dokument nicht beschrieben.
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Art der Ausrüstung und die wichtigsten Maße der Anschlüsse fest, die auf dem Tankscheitel dieser Kesselwagen angeordnet werden.
Diese Norm gilt für neue Kesselwagen, die nach dem 1. Januar 2010 gebaut werden.

La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux dispositifs supérieurs équipant les wagons citernes utilisés pour le transport de matières du RID à l'état liquide et pouvant être remplis et vidés par le haut. Les fonctions de sécurité de ces dispositifs sont soumises aux exigences du RID et ne sont pas décrites dans le présent document.
La présente Norme européenne définit le type d'équipement monté sur le haut de tels wagons citernes ainsi que les dimensions essentielles des raccordements.
La présente norme s’applique aux nouveaux wagons citernes fabriqués après le 1er janvier 2010.

Ta evropski standard velja za naprave, nameščene na vrhu vagonov-cistern za polnjenje in praznjenje tekočih snovi RID, ki se prevažajo v tekočem stanju, in se lahko polnijo in praznijo z vrha. Za varnostne funkcije naprav veljajo zahteve RID in niso opisane v tem dokumentu. Ta evropski standard določa vrsto opreme, ki se pritrdi na vrh takih vagonov-cistern, in pomembne mere za njihove priključke. Ta evropski standard velja za nove vagone-cisterne, narejene po 1. januarju 2010.
