Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies" in collaboration with the Technical Committee
CEN/TC 289 “Leather” the secretariat of which is held by UNI.

identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2016, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by April 2016.

FprEN ISO 18219:2015 (D) 4 Einleitung Kurzkettige Chlorparaffine (SCCP, en: short-chain chlorinated paraffins) werden als umweltgefährdend eingestuft, da sie sehr giftig für Wasserorganismen sind und in der aquatischen Umwelt schädliche Langzeitwirkungen haben können. Die Europäische Richtlinie 2002/45/EG hat im Jahr 2002 das Inverkehrbringen und die Verwendung kurzket-tiger Chlorparaffine (C10-C13) in Produktzubereitungen für das Fettlickern von Leder beschränkt. Verboten wurden Zubereitungen mit Konzentrationen von gleich oder mehr als 1 % SCCP. Diese Richtlinie ist Bestandteil der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1907/2006 (REACH). Im Oktober 2008 wurden die kurzkettigen Chlorparaffine innerhalb dieser EG-Verordnung in die Kandidatenliste der besonders besorgniserregenden Stoffe (SVHC: substances of very high concern) aufgenommen. kSIST FprEN ISO 18219:2015
