1.1 The scope of EN 14511 1 is applicable.
1.2 This European Standard specifies the test conditions for the rating of air conditioners, liquid chilling packages and heat pumps, using either, air, water or brine as heat transfer media, with electrically driven compressors when used for space heating and/or cooling. The standard also specifies the test conditions for the rating of air-cooled and water(brine)-cooled process chillers.
1.3 This European Standard specifies the conditions for which performance data is to be declared for single duct and double duct units for compliance to the Ecodesign Regulation 206/2012 and Energy Labelling Regulation 626/2011.

1.1 Es gilt der Anwendungsbereich von EN 14511 1.
1.2 Diese Europäische Norm legt die Bedingungen für die Leistungsprüfung von Luftkonditionierern, Flüssigkeitskühlsätzen und Wärmepumpen, die entweder Luft, Wasser oder Sole als Wärmeträger nutzen, mit elektrisch angetriebenen Verdichtern für die Raumbeheizung und/oder -kühlung fest. Die Norm legt auch die Bedingungen für die Leistungsprüfung von luftgekühlten und von wasser(sole-)gekühlten Prozess Kühlern fest.
1.3 Diese Europäische Norm legt die Bedingungen fest, für die die leistungsbezogenen Daten zu Einkanal- und Zweikanal-Geräten zum Zwecke der Übereinstimmung mit der Ökodesign-Verordnung 206/2012 und der Verordnung 626/2011 zur Energieverbrauchskennzeichnung angegeben werden müssen.
