ISO 17447-2:2015 specifies the main properties and dimensions of ceramic-sheath-type glow-plugs, including the terminals and the dimensions of their cylinder head housings, for use with diesel (compression ignition) engines.

ISO 17447-3:2015 specifies general requirements and test methods for sheath-type glow-plugs. Detailed test condition(s) and/or requirement(s) are agreed between the glow-plug manufacturers and the engine manufacturer. It is applicable to glow-plugs conforming to ISO 17447‑1 and ISO 17447‑2, used in diesel (compression ignition) engines.

ISO 28741:2013 specifies the main properties and dimensions of spark-plugs, including the terminals and the dimensions of their cylinder head housings, for use with spark-ignition engines. ISO 28741:2013 does not cover screened and waterproof spark-plugs.

ISO 11565:2006 specifies the test methods and requirements for the mechanical and electrical performance of spark-plugs for use with spark ignition engines.

ISO 19813:2006 specifies tests and requirements for all types of high voltage boots on plug-top and pencil coils.

ISO 6856:2005 specifies test methods and general requirements for unscreened high-voltage ignition cable assemblies, and is applicable to all such assemblies used in road vehicle applications.

ISO 3808 specifies the classes, types and dimensions of, and test methods and requirements for, the unscreened high-voltage ignition cables used in spark-ignited engines for road vehicles.

ISO 7578:2008 specifies general requirements and test methods for sheath-type glow-plugs. Detailed test condition(s) and/or requirement(s) are agreed between the glow-plug manufacturers and the engine manufacturer. It is applicable to those sheath-type glow-plugs conforming to ISO 6550‑1, ISO 6550‑2, ISO 6550‑3 and ISO 6550‑4, used in compression ignition (diesel) engines.

ISO 8470:2006 specifies characteristics of M14 x 1,25 spark-plugs with flat seating and 16 mm hexagon and their cylinder head housings, for use with spark-ignition engines.

ISO 2705:2006 specifies characteristics of M12 x 1,25 spark-plugs with flat seating and their cylinder head housings, for use with spark-ignition engines.

ISO 16246:2005 specifies the characteristics of M12 x 1,25 spark-plugs with flat seating and 14 mm hexagon and their cylinder head housings, used with spark-ignition engines in road vehicles.

This International Standard specifies the main characteristics of M14 x 1,25 compact spark-plugs with flat seating and 19 mm hexagon and their cylinder head housing, for use with spark-ignition engines.
