This document specifies the requirements for the installation and commissioning of water-based heating, water-based cooling, and heating of domestic hot water (DHW) systems in buildings with a maximum operating temperature of 105 °C.
This document is applicable to the commissioning of systems as a whole, in cases of new systems, renovations and replacement of equipment.
This document does not apply to superheated water systems or steam systems and it does not apply to the specific commissioning requirements for individual components (e.g. how to set fuel/air ratio on a burner). Also, it does not apply to the installation or commissioning of attached systems (e.g. air conditioning, domestic hot water distribution, ventilation systems).
This document specifies only technical requirements but it does not specify any commercial or contractual arrangements between parties.

This document specifies safety requirements and test methods for inlets and outlets for water/air and water-/air-based leisure features involving water movement, in addition to the general safety requirements of EN 13451 1.
The requirements of this specific standard take priority over those in EN 13451 1.
This part of EN 13451 is applicable to swimming pool equipment installed in pools for public use designed for:
-   the introduction and/or extraction of water for treatment or leisure purposes;
-   the introduction of air for leisure purposes;
-   water leisure features involving the movement of water.
NOTE   The above items are identified with the general term devices.

This document specifies safety requirements for starting platforms with a height ≤ 750 mm above water level. These requirements are additional to those given in EN 13451-1 and these documents are intended to be read together.
The requirements of this specific standard take priority over those in EN 13451-1.
This document is applicable to starting platforms for use in classified swimming pools as specified in EN 15288-1 and EN 15288-2.

This document specifies the general safety requirements for demountable machines and trailers, including road-rail trailers - henceforward referred to as ‘machines, for use when travelling and working on railway track.
NOTE   Trailers, including road-rail trailers, are considered as machines because they are moved along the track by powered machines.
This document specifies the requirements to deal with the common hazards presented by their use on the railway during transport, assembly and installation, commissioning, travelling and working on track, use including setting, programming, and process changeover, operation, cleaning, fault finding, maintenance and de-commissioning of the machines and associated equipment when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable.
These machines will not run on railway lines open to normal traffic.
NOTE   Other rail mounted railway maintenance and infrastructure inspection machines are dealt with in other European standards, see Technical Report CEN/TR 17498:2020.
This document is also applicable to machines and associated equipment that in working mode are partly supported on the ballast or the formation.
The requirements in this document are based on the assumption that the machines are used, operated and maintained by skilled person(s).
This document does not apply to the following:
-   requirements for quality of the work or performance of the machine;
-   use of separate equipment temporarily mounted on machines;
-   machines that utilize external power supplies such as the overhead contact line system for traction purposes or as a power source;
-   hazards due to air pressure caused by the passing of high-speed trains at more than 200 km/h;
-   operation subject to special rules, e.g. potentially explosive atmospheres;
-   hazards due to natural causes, e.g. earthquake, lightning, flooding;
-   working methods;
-   operation in severe working conditions requiring special measures, e.g. corrosive environments, contaminating environments, strong magnetic fields;
-   hazards occurring when used to handle suspended loads which may swing freely.

This document is applicable to residential liquid fuel burning appliances intended for space heating.
This document specifies requirements relating to the design, manufacture, construction, safety and performance (efficiency and emission) of appliances fired by liquid fuel (hereafter referred to as “appliance(s)”) and provides instructions for them. Furthermore, it also gives provisions for the evaluation of conformity, i.e. initial type testing (ITT) and factory production control (FPC) and marking of these appliances.
This document specifies the test methods for the determination of the smoke number, and CO, NOx, and OGC emission test methods.
This document does not apply to:
-   built-in appliances;
-   appliances equipped with an atomizing burner;
-   appliances incorporating a boiler or connected to a water system.

This document applies to olfactory board games, cosmetic kits, gustative games and supplementary sets. It specifies requirements on the use of substances and mixtures and in some cases on their amount and concentration in olfactory board games, cosmetic kits, gustative games and supplementary sets to such games or kits.
These substances and mixtures are:
-   those classified as hazardous by the EC-legislation applying to hazardous substances [13] and hazardous mixtures [13];
-   substances and mixtures which in excessive amounts could harm the health of the children using them and which are not classified as hazardous by the above-mentioned legislation; and
-   any other chemical substance(s) and mixture(s) delivered with the set.
Furthermore, this document specifies allergenic fragrances which are prohibited in toys, marking requirements, in particular regarding allergenic fragrances, and requirements on a contents list, instructions for use, the equipment intended to be used during the activity and the use of highly flammable liquids.
This document does not apply to cosmetic toys such as play cosmetics for dolls.
NOTE   The terms "substance" and "mixture" are defined in the REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 [14] and in the CLP regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 [13].

This document deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events which are relevant to machinery for supply and circulation of liquid coating material, when used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer, including reasonably foreseeable misuse.
See Annex A for significant hazards.
Together with this document, EN 50050 1:2013, EN 50059:2025, EN 50176:2025 or EN 50348:2010 give requirements for electrostatic machinery for supply and circulation of liquid coating material.
The specific significant risks related to the use of machinery for supply and circulation of liquid coating material with foodstuffs and pharmaceutical products are not dealt with in this document.
Interfaces to connected machinery and systems are given in Figure 1, to specify the limit of the machinery for supply and circulation of liquid coating material.

This document does not apply to:
-   pressure related hazards of equipment classified as higher than category 1 of Directive 2014/68/EU Article 13;

-   machinery for the supply of powder coating material;
-   machinery for coating material recycling;
-   hand-held agitators;
-   agitators of more than 3 kW electrical power supply;
-   offline heating systems;
-   supply systems for CO2 shot-blasting machinery;
-   equipment used for manufacturing of coating material;
-   coating material packaging units (drums, containers, etc.).
This document is not applicable to machinery for supply and circulation of liquid coating material manufactured before the date of its publication.

This European Standard covers multi-firing sauna stoves in which the heating stones are separated from and indirectly heated by the fire and the flue gases and which may be re-fuelled with several fuel loads.
This European Standard specifies requirements relating to the design, manufacture, construction, safety and performance (efficiency and emission) of multi-firing sauna stoves fired by wood logs and provides instructions for them. Furthermore, it also gives provisions for evaluation of conformity (i.e. initial type testing (ITT) and factory production control (FPC) and marking of these products.
This standard is applicable to hand-fuelled intermittent burning multi-firing sauna stoves, which provide heat into the space where they are installed.
These multi-firing sauna stoves may be supplied either as an assembled appliance or as a manufacturer’s pre-designed unit consisting of pre-fabricated components designed to be built on site in accordance with the manufacturer’s specified assembly instructions. One-off installations are not included.
These multi-firing sauna stoves may burn only natural wood logs in accordance with the appliance operating instructions.
Single-firing heat storage sauna stoves, in which the stones are directly heated by the fire and the flue gases, which pass through them, are not covered by this European Standard. This standard is also not applicable to mechanically fed sauna stoves, sauna stoves having fan assisted combustion air, sauna stoves fitted with a boiler, sauna stoves with incorporated flue or sauna stoves having any electrical connection.

This part of IEC 60898 applies to DC circuit-breakers, having a DC rated voltage not exceeding 440V, a rated current not exceeding 125 A and a rated short-circuit capacity not exceeding 10 000 A.

This document is applicable to oil stoves. These appliances have one or more vaporizing burners and a nominal heating capacity of not more than 15 kW and are equipped either with a draught regulator or a combustion air limiter.
The intended use of the appliances is space heating in residential buildings.
This document is also applicable to appliances with fan assisted vaporizing burners.
According to the type of fuels used in the country of destination, the appliances are supplied for use with either:
-   fuel oil with a maximum kinematic viscosity of 6,0 mm²/s at 20 °C;
-   or kerosene with a flash point of not less than 40 °C.
This document is not applicable for:
-   built-in appliances;
-   appliances equipped with an atomizing burner;
-   appliances incorporating a boiler or connected to a water system.
This document specifies procedures for assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP) of characteristics of flued oil stoves with vaporizing burners.

IEC 63522-40:2025 This document is used for testing along with the appropriate severities and conditions for measurements and tests designed to assess the ability of DUTs to perform under expected conditions of transportation, storage and all aspects of operational use. This document defines a standard test method for short circuit testing.

IEC 63522-24:2025 This part of IEC 63522 is used for testing along with the appropriate severities and conditions for measurements and tests designed to assess the ability of DUTs to perform under expected conditions of transportation, storage and all aspects of operational use. This document defines a test to check that a multipole relay is capable of transferring one source to another.

This document defines terms used for the different components of the forensic process from scene to courtroom (as illustrated in Figure A.1).

This document specifies requirements for high chromium white cast iron grit, as supplied for blast-cleaning processes. It specifies ranges of particle sizes, together with corresponding grade designations. Values are specified for hardness, density, defect/structural requirements, metallographic structure and chemical composition. The requirements specified in this document apply to abrasives supplied in the new condition only. They do not apply to abrasives either during or after use. High chromium white cast iron grits are used in both static and site blasting equipment. They are most often selected where there is a possibility for the recovery and re-use of the abrasive. NOTE 1 Although this document has been developed for preparation of steelwork, these materials are predominantly used for non-ferrous substrates. The properties specified will generally be appropriate for use when preparing other material surfaces, or components, using blast-cleaning techniques, and can be used for applications where no subsequent coating is applied. NOTE 2 Whenever dissimilar metals are used together, galvanic corrosion can occur.

This document provides an inventory of methods for the detection of microbiological contamination in mammalian cell culture. This document includes considerations for the selection of methods to test the presence of common contaminants such as bacteria, fungi, viruses and mycoplasma. This document is not applicable to prions and protists. This document is intended for use by biomedical researchers, biobank operators and others performing mammalian cell culture.

IEC 63522-32:2025 This document is used for testing under appropriate severities and conditions for measurements and tests designed to assess the ability of DUTs to perform under expected conditions of transportation, storage and all aspects of operational use. This document defines a standard test method to investigate the effect of acoustic noise in conjunction with the operating, releasing and cycling noise of a relay and the immunity of a relay to acoustic noise.

IEC 60794-1-216:2025 defines test procedures to ensure the filling and flooding compounds will not flow from a filled or flooded fibre optic cable, at stated temperatures. NOTE The environmental testing of optical cable would be valuable for some applications. Useful information about suitable test methods can be found in the optical fibre standards IEC 60794-1-2. This document partially cancels and replaces the second edition of IEC 60794-1-22:2017. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to IEC 60794-1-22:2017: a) Addition of new Clause 10.

IEC 60794-208:2025 describes test procedures to be used in establishing uniform requirements for optical fibre cables for the pneumatic resistance environmental property, for unfilled cables which are protected by gas pressurization. This document applies to optical fibre cables for use with telecommunication equipment and devices employing similar techniques, and to cables having a combination of both optical fibres and electrical conductors. NOTE Throughout the document, the wording "optical cable" can also include optical fibre units, microduct fibre units, etc. This first edition of IEC 60794‑1‑208 cancels and replaces method F8 of the second edition of IEC 60794‑1‑22 published in 2017. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) the form of the formula for pneumatic resistance is modified for ease of calculation with test pressures other than 62 kPa; b) details to be reported are added.

IEC 63522-49:2025 This part of IEC 63522 is used for testing all kinds of electrical relays and for evaluating their ability to perform under expected conditions of transportation, storage and all aspects of operational use. This document defines a standard test method for long term stability of sealing.
