Welding and allied processes - Welding positions (ISO 6947:2011)

ISO 6947:2011 defines welding positions for testing and production, for butt and fillet welds, in all product forms.
One annex gives examples of the limits of the slope of a weld axis and the rotation of the weld face about the weld axis for welding positions.
Another annex provides a comparison of International, European and US designations.

Schweißen und verwandte Prozesse - Schweißpositionen (ISO 6947:2011)

Diese Internationale Norm legt Schweißpositionen für das Prüfen und die Fertigung von Stumpf- und
Kehlnähten in allen Produktformen fest.
Anhang A enthält Beispiele über die Grenzen der Neigung einer Schweißnahtachse und der Drehung der
Schweißnahtoberfläche um die Schweißnahtachse für Schweißpositionen bei Fertigungsschweißungen.
Anhang B bietet einen Vergleich zwischen internationalen, europäischen und US-amerikanischen
Benennungen.

Soudage et techniques connexes - Positions de soudage (ISO 6947:2011)

L'ISO 6947:2011 définit des positions de soudage pour les essais et la production, pour les soudures bout à bout et pour les soudures en angle, pour toutes les formes de produit.
Une annexe donne des exemples de limites d'inclinaison de l'axe de la soudure et de limites de rotation de l'endroit de la soudure de part et d'autre de l'axe de soudure, pour les différentes positions de soudage.
Une autre annexe fournit une comparaison des désignations internationales, européennes et des États-Unis.

Varjenje in sorodni postopki - Položaji pri varjenju (ISO 6947:2011)

Ta mednarodni standard opredeljuje položaje pri varjenju za preskušanje in izdelavo soležnih in kotnih zvarov pri vseh oblikah proizvodov. Dodatek A podaja primere mej naklona osi zvara in rotacijo sprednje strani zvara okrog osi zvara za položaje pri varjenju v proizvodnih zvarih. Dodatek B podaja primerjavo mednarodnih, evropskih in ameriških oznak.

This document (EN ISO 6947:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 "Welding and
allied processes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding” the secretariat of which is
held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by November 2011.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 6947:1997.
