Aluminium and aluminium alloys - Circle and circle stock for the production of general applications - Specifications

This European Standard specifies the particular requirements for wrought aluminium and aluminium alloys in the form of circle or circle stock for general applications.
It applies to:
-   Circles made out of hot or cold rolled circles stock by:
-   Blanking: thickness 0,2 mm up to including 12 mm and with a diameter up to 1 000 mm;
-   Sawing or shearing: thickness 0,2 mm up to and including 200 mm with a diameter up to 3 500 mm;
-   Hot or cold rolled circle stock with a thickness from 0,2 mm up to and including 200 mm and with a width up to 3 500 mm.
It does not apply to slugs for impact extrusions or to circle and circle stock for culinary utensils applications which are dealt with in other European Standards.

Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen - Ronden und Rondenvormaterial für allgemeine Anwendungen - Spezifikationen

Diese Europäische Norm legt die besonderen Anforderungen für Ronden und Rondenvormaterial aus Aluminium-Knetlegierung und Aluminiumlegierungen fest, die für allgemeine Anwendungen eingesetzt werden.
Diese Norm gilt für:
-   Ronden, die aus kalt- bzw. warmgewalztem Rondenvormaterial hergestellt werden;
-   Stanzen (geschlossener Schnitt): mit einer Dicke von 0,2 mm bis 12 mm und einem Durchmesser bis 1 000 mm;
-   Sägen oder schneiden (offener Schnitt): mit einer Dicke von 0,2 mm bis 200 mm und einem Durch-messer bis 3 500 mm;
-   kalt- bzw. warmgewalztes Rondenvormaterial mit einer Dicke von 0,2 mm bis 200 mm und einer Breite bis 3 500 mm;
Sie gilt weder für Butzen zum Fließpressen, noch für Ronden und Rondenvormaterial für die Herstellung von Küchengeschirr, welche in anderen Europäischen Normen behandelt werden.

Aluminium et alliages d’aluminium - Disques et ébauches pour disques pour applications générales - Spécifications

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences particulières applicables à l'aluminium et aux alliages d'aluminium corroyés sous forme de disques ou d'ébauches pour disques à usage général.
Elle s'applique aux :
-   disques fabriqués à partir d'ébauches pour disques laminées à chaud ou à froid par :
-   poinçonnage : épaisseur comprise entre 0,2 mm et 12 mm inclus, et diamètre inférieur ou égal à 1 000 mm ;
-   sciage ou cisaillage : épaisseur comprise entre 0,2 mm et 200 mm inclus, et diamètre inférieur ou égal à 3 500 mm ;
-   ébauches pour disques laminées à chaud ou à froid, d'épaisseur comprise entre 0,2 mm et 200 mm inclus et de largeur inférieure ou égale à 3 500 mm.
Elle ne s'applique pas aux pions de filage par choc, ni aux disques et ébauches pour disques destinés à la fabrication d'ustensiles culinaires, qui sont traités dans d'autres normes européennes.

Aluminij in aluminijeve zlitine - Rondele in polizdelki za splošno uporabo - Specifikacije

Ta evropski standard določa posamezne zahteve za gneteni aluminij in aluminijeve zlitine v obliki rondel ali polizdelkov za splošno uporabo. Uporablja se za:
– rondele, izdelane iz vroče ali hladno valjanih polizdelkov s:
– finim rezanjem: debelina od 0,2 mm do vključno 12 mm in premer do 1 000 mm,
– žaganjem ali iztiskanjem: debelina od 0,2 mm do vključno 200 mm in premer do 3 500 mm,
– vroče ali hladno valjane polizdelke z debelino od 0,2 mm do vključno 200 mm in premerom do 3 500 mm.
Standard se ne uporablja za kovinske palice za udarno iztiskanje ali za rondele in polizdelke za izdelavo jedilnih pripomočkov in posod, ki so obravnavani v drugih evropskih standardih.

This document (EN 941:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 132 “Aluminium and
aluminium alloys”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2014 and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by October 2014.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 941:1995.
With regard the previous version, Clause 2 Normative references was updated; no new alloys were added.

1 Scope
This European Standard specifies the particular requirements for wrought aluminium and aluminium alloys in

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

circle
circular flat product obtained by circular sawing or shearing, or by blanking of a flat rolled product with a
uniform thickness over 0,20 mm
3.2
circle stock
flat rolled product of rectangular cross-section with uniform thickness over 0,20 mm, supplied in coils, sheets,
or plates, usually with sheared or sawn edges, and intended to be sawn, sheared or blanked into flat shapes
to be subsequently formed, drawn, etc.
Note 1 to entry: The thickness does not exceed one tenth of the width.
