Simultaneous interpreting - Quality and transmission of sound and image input - Requirements (ISO 20108:2017)
ISO 20108:2017 sets out requirements for the quality and transmission of sound and image input to interpreters and specifies the characteristics of the audio and video signals. The components of typical interpreting systems are specified in ISO 20109. Together with either permanent (see ISO 2603) or mobile (see ISO 4043) booths, these interpreting systems form the interpreters' working environment. In addition to setting out the requirements for on-site interpreting, where participants (speakers and members of the audience) and interpreters are at the same location, ISO 20108:2017 specifies requirements for different varieties of distance interpreting situations in which the interpreters are not at the same location as one or more of the conference participants.
ISO 20108:2017 also addresses the work of manufacturers and providers of simultaneous interpreting equipment and technical staff.
In conjunction with either ISO 2603 or ISO 4043, ISO 20108:2017 and ISO 20109 provide the relevant requirements both for the quality and transmission of sound and image provided to interpreters and for the equipment needed in the booths, the conference room and the distant site(s).
Simultandolmetschen - Qualität und Übertragung von Ton- und Bildeingang - Anforderungen (ISO 20108:2017)
In diesem Dokument werden Anforderungen an die Qualität der Ton- und Bildeingangssignale für Dolmetscher formuliert und die Merkmale der Ton- und Bildeingangssignale festgelegt. Die Komponenten typischer Dolmetschanlagen werden in ISO 20109 festgelegt. Zusammen mit entweder ortsfesten (ISO 2603) oder mobilen (ISO 4043) Dolmetschkabinen bilden diese Dolmetschanlagen die Arbeitsumgebung des Dolmetschers. Zusätzlich zur Formulierung der Anforderungen für das Präsenzdolmetschen, bei dem sich die Teilnehmer (Sprecher und einige Zuhörer) und die Dolmetscher am selben Ort befinden, legt diese Norm auch Anforderungen für die unterschiedlichen Ausprägungen von Situationen des Ferndolmetschens fest, bei dem sich die Dolmetscher nicht am selben Ort wie einer oder mehrere der Konferenzteilnehmer befinden.
Dieses Dokument bezieht sich auch auf die Arbeit von Herstellern und Anbietern von Simultandolmetschausstattungen sowie technisches Personal.
In Verbindung mit entweder ISO 2603 oder ISO 4043, legen ISO 20108 und ISO 20109 die relevanten Anforderungen sowohl für die Qualität und Übertragung von Ton und Bild zu den Dolmetschern als auch für die benötigte Ausstattung der Dolmetschkabinen, des Konferenzraums sowie den oder die entfernten Ort(e) fest.

L'ISO 20108 :2017 définit les exigences de qualité et de transmission du son et de l'image transmis aux interprètes et précise les caractéristiques des signaux audio-vidéo. Les composants des systèmes d'interprétation conventionnels sont définis par l'ISO 20109. Avec des cabines permanentes (ISO 2603) ou transportables (ISO 4043), ces systèmes d'interprétation constituent l'environnement de travail des interprètes. En plus de définir les exigences pour l'interprétation sur site, où les participants (orateurs et membres de l'assistance) et les interprètes se trouvent dans un même lieu, cette norme définit également les exigences pour différentes typologies d'interprétation à distance, où les interprètes et un ou plusieurs participants à la conférence se trouvent dans des lieux différents.
Ce document couvre également le travail des fabricants et fournisseurs d'équipement d'interprétation simultanée et du personnel technique.
Conjointement avec l'ISO 2603 ou l'ISO 4043, l'ISO 20108 :2017 et l'ISO 20109 définissent les exigences relatives tant à la qualité et à la transmission du son et de l'image fournis aux interprètes, qu'au matériel requis dans les cabines, la salle de conférence et le(s) site(s) distant(s).
Simultano tolmačenje - Kakovost in prenos zvoka in slike - Zahteve (ISO 20108:2017)
Ta dokument določa zahteve za kakovost in prenos zvoka in vhodne slike za tolmače ter določa karakteristike avdio in video signalov. Komponente tipičnih sistemov tolmačenja so določene v standardu ISO 20109. Ti sistemi tolmačenja skupaj s stalnimi (glej ISO 2603) ali mobilnimi (glej ISO 4043) kabinami tvorijo delovno okolje tolmačev.
Poleg določanja zahtev za simultano tolmačenje, kjer so udeleženci (predavatelji in občinstvo) ter tolmači na isti lokaciji, ta dokument določa tudi zahteve za različne situacije tolmačenja na daljavo, v katerih tolmači niso na isti lokaciji kot eden ali več udeležencev konference.
Ta dokument se nanaša tudi na delo proizvajalcev in ponudnikov opreme za simultano tolmačenje ter tehničnega osebja.
Ta dokument in standard ISO 20109 v povezavi s standardom ISO 2603 ali ISO 4043 določata ustrezne zahteve glede kakovosti ter prenosa zvoka in slike, ki se zagotavljata za tolmače, ter potrebne opreme v kabinah, konferenčni sobi in na oddaljenih mestih.
