Bio-based products - Requirements for Business to Business communication of characteristics using a Data Sheet
This European Standard specifies a template for the reporting and communication of characteristics, including recovery and disposal options, of bio-based products designed for business to business transactions.
This horizontal European Standard is intended to be used as a tool to generate and transfer information in the industrial chain and/or as an input for product specific standards and certification schemes.
This European Standard does not contain requirements for bio-based products, but requirements for claims about bio-based products.
Business to consumer communication is not covered by this standard

Diese Europäische Norm ist als ein Werkzeug zur Bereitstellung und Weitergabe von Informationen in der Wertschöpfungskette und/oder als Beitrag für produktspezifische Normen und Zertifizierungsregelungen vorgesehen.
Die Kommunikation zwischen Unternehmen und Verbraucher ist durch prEN 16935 [1] abgedeckt.

La présente Norme européenne décrit les exigences relatives à une communication transparente et non trompeuse des caractéristiques des produits biosourcés entre entreprises au moyen d’une Fiche Technique particulière. Elle ne précise pas les exigences relatives aux produits biosourcés.
La présente Norme européenne est destinée à être utilisée comme outil pour générer et transférer des informations dans la chaîne de valeur et/ou comme contribution aux normes et schémas de certification spécifiques des produits.
La communication entre entreprises et consommateurs est couverte par le prEN 16935 [1].
