Bonding sealants - Part 1: Bonded glazing sealants for direct light exposure

This document covers the requirements for, and testing of sealants for use in one or more of the following applications:
a)   Manufacturing of insulating glass units where direct ultraviolet resistance and mechanical resistance (bonding use) of the insulating glass edge seal are required;
b)   Manufacturing of factory-made bonded sealant glazing elements when referred to by the relevant European Standards and/or European Technical Approval Guidelines;
c)   Assembling of glass products into or onto supports, where also direct ultraviolet resistance and/or mechanical resistance (bonding use) of the seal are required, under controlled environmental conditions as described in EN 13022-2.
This document covers the evaluation of conformity and the factory production control with respect to the production of sealants in conformity with this document.
This document describes the role of sealants that are in conformity with this document, with respect to sealing and bonding.
This document does not apply to sealants for the manufacture of insulating glass units where the seal is fully protected, i.e. by a frame, from ultraviolet radiation.

Klebende Dichtstoffe - Teil 1: Klebende Dichtstoffe für Glaskonstruktionen

Dieses Dokument behandelt Anforderungen und Prüfung von Dichtstoffen für die Verwendung in einer oder mehreren der nachfolgenden Anwendungen:
a)   Herstellung von Isolierverglasungen, wenn eine Beständigkeit gegen direkte UV-Strahlung und/oder eine mechanische Festigkeit (geklebte Anwendung) des Randverbundes des Isolierglases erforderlich ist;
b)   industrielle Fertigung von Elementen für geklebte Verglasungen, wenn in den entsprechenden Europäischen Normen und/oder ETAGs (Leitlinien für europäische technische Zulassungen) darauf verwiesen wird;
c)   Einbau oder Montage von Glasprodukten in oder an Halterungen unter kontrollierten Umgebungsbedingungen, wenn ebenfalls eine Beständigkeit gegen direkte UV-Strahlung und/oder eine mechanische Festigkeit (geklebte Anwendung) der Dichtung erforderlich ist, wie in EN 13022-2 beschrieben.
Dieses Dokument behandelt die Konformitätsbewertung und die werkseigene Produktionskontrolle im Hinblick auf die Produktion von Dichtstoffen in Übereinstimmung mit diesem Dokument.

Mastics de collage - Partie 1 : Mastics de scellement et/ou de collage en exposition direct à la lumière

Le présent document traite des exigences et des essais relatifs aux mastics de scellement et/ou de collage destinés à être utilisés dans une ou plusieurs des applications suivantes :
a)   la fabrication de vitrages isolants pour lesquels une résistance à l’exposition directe aux UV et une résistance mécanique (fonction de maintien par collage) du scellement périphérique du vitrage isolant sont exigées ;
b)   la fabrication d'éléments de vitrage extérieur collé réalisés en usine lorsque les Normes européennes applicables et/ou les guides d'agréments techniques européens pertinents y font référence ;
c)   l'intégration de produits verriers directement dans des supports ou sur ces derniers, lorsqu'une résistance à l’exposition directe aux UV et/ou une résistance mécanique (fonction de maintien par collage) sont également exigées, dans les conditions d’application contrôlées comme décrites dans l’EN 13022-2.
Le présent document traite de l'évaluation de la conformité et du contrôle de la production en usine des mastics de scellement et/ou de collage fabriqués conformément à ce même document.

Le présent document ne s'applique pas aux mastics de scellement utilisés pour la fabrication de vitrages isolants comprenant une feuillure fermée protégeant parfaitement le mastic des rayonnements ultraviolets.

Tesnilne mase za lepljenje - 1. del: Tesnilne mase za lepljenje steklenih konstrukcij

Ta dokument zajema zahteve za preskušanje tesnil, ki so primerna za eno ali več naslednjih uporab:
a)   Izdelava izolacijskih steklenih enot, kjer sta zahtevani odpornost pred neposredno ultravijolično svetlobo in mehanska odpornost (uporaba pri lepljenju) robnega tesnila izolacijskega stekla.
b)   Izdelava tovarniško proizvedenih zastekljenih elementov z lepljenim tesnilom, če so navedeni v ustreznih evropskih standardih in/ali smernicah za evropska tehnična soglasja.
c)   Nameščanje steklenih proizvodov v nosilce ali na njih, kjer je zahtevana odpornost tesnila pred neposredno ultravijolično svetlobo in/ali mehanska odpornost (uporaba pri lepljenju) pod nadzorovanimi okoljskimi razmerami, kot je opisano v točki 5 standarda EN 13022 2:2014.
OPOMBA 1:   Zahtevana odpornost pred izpostavljenostjo ultravijolični svetlobi bo odvisna od kemične sestave tesnila. Preskusi z zmanjšano izpostavljenostjo ultravijolični svetlobi so sprejemljivi za uveljavljene silikonske tehnologije. Za različne tehnologije bo potrebna daljša izpostavljenost ultravijolični svetlobi.
Ta dokument zajema oceno skladnosti in kontrolo tovarniške proizvodnje v zvezi s proizvodno tesnil v skladu s tem dokumentom.
Ta dokument opisuje vlogo tesnil, ki so skladna s tem dokumentom, v postopku tesnjenja in lepljenja.
Ta dokument se ne uporablja za tesnila za proizvodnjo izolacijskih steklenih enot, kjer je tesnilo povsem zaščiteno, tj. z okvirom, pred ultravijoličnim sevanjem.
OPOMBA 2:   Tesnila za to vrsto uporabe so skladna s standardom EN 1279-4.

This document (EN 15434-1:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 349 “Sealants for
joints in building construction”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2023, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by October 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 15434:2006+A1:2010.
The main changes compared to the previous edition are listed below:
