ISO 10893-2:2011 specifies requirements for automated eddy current testing of seamless and welded tubes with the exception of submerged arc-welded (SAW) tubes, for the detection of imperfections according to the different acceptance levels. It is applicable to the inspection of tubes with an outside diameter greater than or equal to 4 mm.
It can also be applicable to the testing of hollow sections.

Dieser Teil der ISO 10893 legt die Anforderungen an die automatisierte Wirbelstromprüfung nahtloser und
geschweißter Rohre — mit Ausnahme unterpulvergeschweißter (SAW-) Rohre — zum Nachweis von Unvollkommenheiten
nach verschiedenen Zulässigkeitsklassen, wie in den Tabellen 1 und 2 angegeben.
Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für die Prüfung von Rohren mit einem Außendurchmesser ab 4 mm.
Dieses Dokument kann auch für die Prüfung von Hohlprofilen angewendet werden.

L'ISO 10893-2:2011 spécifie les exigences relatives au contrôle automatisé par courants de Foucault des tubes sans soudure et soudés, à l'exception des tubes soudés à l'arc immergé sous flux en poudre (SAW), pour la détection des imperfections suivant différents niveaux d'acceptation. Elle est applicable au contrôle des tubes ayant un diamètre extérieur supérieur ou égal à 4 mm.
L'ISO 10893-2:2011 est également applicable au contrôle des profils creux.

This document (EN ISO 10893-2:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 17 "Steel" in
collaboration with Technical Committee ECISS/TC 110 “Steel tubes, and iron and steel fittings” the secretariat
of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
