ISO 10893-4:2011 specifies requirements applicable to liquid penetrant testing of seamless and welded tubes for the detection of surface imperfections.
It is applicable to all or any part of the tube surface as required by the relevant product standards.
It can also be applicable to the testing of hollow sections.

L'ISO 10893-4:2011 spécifie les exigences applicables au contrôle par ressuage des tubes sans soudure et soudés pour la détection d'imperfections de surface.
Elle est applicable à toute la surface du tube ou à une partie de celle-ci, comme requis par les normes de produits pertinentes.
Elle est également applicable au contrôle des profils creux.

This document (EN ISO 10893-4:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 17 "Steel" in
collaboration with Technical Committee ECISS/TC 110 “Steel tubes, and iron and steel fittings” the secretariat
of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by October 2011.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
