Amendment 1 - Limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting and similar equipment

This standard specifies the electrical characteristics of a U-weighting filter mainly for use with sound level meters meeting the requirements of IEC 651 for the measurement of audible sound in the presence of ultrasound.

8.6 Semi-luminaires et lampes à ballast incorporé

Ajouter, à la fin du deuxième alinéa, le nouveau texte suivant:
.... du réseau fictif en V. Toutefois, pour les lampes à ballast incorporé ayant une fréquence de
fonction entre 2,51 MHz à 3,0 MHz, le montage de mesure suivant doit être utilisé. La lampe
est montée dans une douille appropriée, placée 0,4 m au-dessus d'une plaque de métal d'au
moins 2 m × 2 m et doit être maintenue à au moins 0,8 m de toutes parois reliées à la terre. Le
réseau fictif en V doit être placé également à une distance d'au moins 0,8 m de la lampe et le
câble entre la douille et le réseau fictif en V ne doit pas dépasser 1 m. La plaque de métal doit
être reliée à la terre de référence du réseau fictif en V.

8.6 Self-ballasted lamps and semi-luminaires

Add, to the end of the second paragraph, the following new text:
.... of the V-network. However, for self-ballasted lamps having an operating frequency within
the range 2,51 MHz to 3,0 MHz, the following circuit shall be used. The lamp is fitted in an
appropriate lampholder and placed 0,4 m above a metal plate of dimensions at least 2 m × 2 m
and shall be kept at least 0,8 m from any other earthed conducting surface. The artificial mains
network (V-network) shall also be placed at a distance from at least 0,8 m from the lamp and
the lead between lampholder and V-network shall not exceed 1 m. The plate shall be
connected to the reference earth of the V-network.
