Tests for chemical properties of aggregates - Part 7: Determination of loss of ignition of Municipal Incinerator Bottom Ash Aggregate (MIBA Aggregate)

This standard specifies the test method used for the determination of the loss on ignition (L.O.I) of aggregates produced by processing Municipal Incinerator Bottom Ash (MIBA). Unless otherwise stated, the test methods specified in this European Standard may be used for factory production control, for audit tests or for type tests. This standard describes the reference methods use for type testing and in case of dispute (and alternatives methods) for LOI of MIBA (and if mentioned alternative ones). For the purpose of type testing and in case of dispute only the reference method should be used. For other purposes, in particular factory production control, other methods may be used provided than an appropriate working relationship with the reference method has been established.

Diese Norm legt das Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung des Glühverlustes (LOI, en. loss on ignition) von Gesteinskörnungen (HMVA Gesteinskörnungen) fest, die durch Aufbereitung von Hausmüllverbrennungs¬asche (HMVA) erzeugt werden.
Sofern nicht anders festgelegt, dürfen die in dieser Norm festgelegten Prüfverfahren für die werkseigene Produktionskontrolle, für Audits oder für Erstprüfungen angewendet werden.
Diese Europäische Norm legt die für die Erstprüfung und in Streitfällen anzuwendenden Referenzverfahren für die Bestimmung des LOI von HMVA Gesteinskörnungen (und falls angegeben, von alternativen Gesteins-körnungen) fest. Für den Zweck der Erstprüfung und in Streitfällen sollte nur das Referenzverfahren angewendet werden. Für andere Zwecke, speziell im Rahmen der werkseigenen Produktionskontrolle, dürfen andere Verfahren angewendet werden, sofern ein ausreichender Zusammenhang zum Referenzverfahren nachgewiesen wurde.

La présente Norme spécifie la méthode d’essai utilisée pour déterminer la perte au feu de granulats (granulats
de MIOM) entraînée par le traitement des mâchefers d’incinération d’ordures ménagères (MIOM).
Sauf mention contraire, les méthodes d’essai spécifiées dans la présente Norme européenne peuvent servir
au contrôle de la production en usine, à des essais d’audit ou à des essais de type.
La présente Norme décrit les méthodes de référence servant aux essais de type et en cas de désaccord
concernant la perte au feu de granulats de MIOM (ainsi que d’autres options, le cas échéant). Pour les
besoins des essais de type et en cas de désaccord, il convient de n’utiliser que la méthode de référence. Pour
les besoins du contrôle de la production en usine en particulier, d’autres méthodes peuvent être utilisées dans
la mesure où une relation de fonctionnement appropriée a été établie avec la méthode de référence.

Ta standard določa preskusne metode, ki se uporabljajo za ugotavljanje žarilne izgube agregatov, proizvedenih s predelovanjem pepela iz sežigalnic komunalnih odpadkov. Če ni navedeno drugače, se lahko preskusne metode iz tega evropskega standarda uporabljajo za kontrolo proizvodnje v obratu, zunanje kontrolne preskuse ali tipske preskuse. V tem standardu so opisane referenčne metode, ki se uporabljajo za tipsko preskušanje in v primeru spora (in alternativnih metod) za žarilno izgubo agregata iz pepela iz sežigalnic komunalnih odpadkov (tudi alternativne metode, če so omenjene). Za namen tipskega preskušanja in v primeru spora naj bi se uporabljala le referenčna metoda. EN 1744-7:2012 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 1744-7:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 154 “Aggregates”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by August 2012. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights.
