This document specifies a method, using dimethylformamide, to determine the mass percentage of
acrylic, modacrylic, chlorofibre or elastane, after removal of non-fibrous matter, in textiles made of
mixtures of
— acrylic, certain modacrylics, certain chlorofibres, certain elastane fibres
with
— wool, animal hair, silk, cotton, viscose, cupro, modal, lyocell, polyamide, polyester, polypropylene,
elastomultiester, elastolefin, melamine, polypropylene/polyamide bicomponent, polyacrylate or
glass fibres.
It is not applicable to animal hair, wool and silk dyed with chromium based mordant dyes.
NOTE Dyestuff identification is described in ISO 16373-1.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Dimethylformamid Verfahren fest zur Bestimmung des prozentualen Massenanteils an Polyacryl, Modacryl, Chlorfasern oder Elastan, nach dem Abtrennen der nichtfaserigen Begleitstoffe, in Textilien aus Mischungen aus
- Polyacryl , bestimmten Modacryl-, bestimmten Chlorfasern, bestimmten Elastanfasern
mit
- Wolle, Tierhaaren, Seide, Baumwolle, Viskose, Cupro, Modal, Lyocell, Polyamid, Polyester, Polypropylen, Elastomultiester , Elastolefin , Melamin , Polypropylen/Polyamid Bikomponente , Polyacrylat oder Glasfasern.
Es ist nicht anzuwenden für Tierhaare, Wolle und Seide, die mit Beizfarbstoffen auf Chrombasis gefärbt sind.
ANMERKUNG ISO 16373 1 beschreibt die Farbstoff Identifikation.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode de détermination, au diméthylformamide, de la masse exprimée en pourcentage d'acryliques, de modacryliques, de chlorofibres ou d'élasthannes, après élimination des matières non fibreuses, dans les textiles composés de mélanges de :
— acrylique, certains modacryliques, certaines chlorofibres, certaines fibres d'élasthanne ;
avec
— laine, poils animaux, soie, coton, viscose, cupro, modal, lyocell, polyamide, polyester, polypropylène, élastomultiester, élastoléfine, mélamine, bicomposant polypropylène/polyamide, polyacrylate ou fibres de verre.
Il ne s'applique pas aux poils animaux, à la laine et la soie teints avec des colorants à mordant au chrome.
NOTE L'identification des colorants est décrite dans l'ISO 16373-1.

This document (EN ISO 1833-12:2020) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38
"Textiles" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the
secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2021, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by April 2021.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of

Komitee CEN/TC 248 erstellt.

Vorwort
ISO (die Internationale Organisation für Normung) ist eine weltweite Vereinigung nationaler
Normungsinstitute (ISO-Mitgliedsorganisationen). Die Erstellung von Internationalen Normen wird
üblicherweise von Technischen Komitees von ISO durchgeführt. Jede Mitgliedsorganisation, die Interesse an
einem Thema hat, für welches ein Technisches Komitee gegründet wurde, hat das Recht, in diesem Komitee
vertreten zu sein. Internationale staatliche und nichtstaatliche Organisationen, die in engem Kontakt mit ISO
