EN 16293:2020 - Packaging - Glass Packaging - Deep BVS finishes for still wines is a CEN European Standard that defines the geometric constructions, dimensions and tolerances for a family of deep screw (BVS) neck finishes intended for wines with a CO2 content below 1,2 g/l. The document replaces EN 16293:2013 and standardises finish designation (for example BVS 28 H 44, BVS 30 H 60), thread profiles, sealing surfaces, transfer bead geometry and neck control requirements used in glass packaging and bottling.
