Welding - Recommendations for welding of metallic materials - Part 4: Arc welding of aluminium and aluminium alloys

This European Standard gives general recommendations for the manual, mechanized and automatic fusion welding of wrought and cast aluminium alloys and combinations therefo. For general guidelines, see EN 1011-1. In this Standard the word "pipe" alone or in combinations is used to mean "tube" or "hollow section", although these terms are often used for different categories of product by different industries.

Diese Europäische Norm gibt allgemeine Empfehlungen für das manuelle, mechanische und automatische Schmelzschweißen von Knet- und Gußlegierungen aus Aluminium sowie für deren Kombinationen. Für allgemeine Richtlinien siehe EN 1011-1. In dieser Norm wird der Begriff "Rohr" allein oder in Kombination für "Rohr oder Hohlprofil" angewendet, obwohl diese Begriffe in verschiedenen Industriezweigen oftmals für unterschiedliche Produktarten benutzt werden.

La présente Norme européenne donne des recommandations générales pour le soudage par fusion manuel, mécanisé ou entierement automatisé des alliages d'aluminium corroyés et moulés et pour des combinaisons de ces méthodes. Pour les lignes directrices, voir l'EN 1011-1. Dans la présente norme européenne, le mot "tube" seul ou associé désigne aussi bien un "tube" ou une "section creuse", bien que certains secteurs industriels utilisent souvent ces termes pour d'autres catégories de produits.
