Precast concrete products - Floor slats for livestock

This European Standard specifies the requirements for reinforced and prestressed precast concrete floor slats used in slatted floors for the housing of livestock and provides for the evaluation of conformity of these products. This standard does not cover slats for loadings other than stock and stockmen.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux caillebotis préfabriqués en béton armé et précontraint utilisés dans les planchers ajourés destinés à la stabulation du bétail et fournit l'évaluation de la conformité de ces produits. La présente norme ne concerne pas les caillebotis destinés à supporter d'autres charges que le bétail et les éleveurs.

Foreword This document (EN 12737:2004+A1:2007) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 229 “Precast concrete products”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR and was examined by and agreed with a joint working party appointed by the Liaison Group CEN/TC 229-TC250, particularly for its compatibility with structural Eurocodes.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2008, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by July 2009. This document supersedes EN 12737:2004. This document includes Amendment 1, approved by CEN on 2007-08-30.
