In vitro diagnostic systems - Transport packages for medical and biological specimens - Requirements, tests

This European standard applies to packages for transport of medical and biological specimens provided that - the nominal volume of the specimen container(s) does not exceed 100 ml; - in the case of multiple specimens, the total volume of specimens in the protecting container does not exceed 500 ml; - no infectious substances are present in the specimen or a relatively low probability exists that infectious substances are present, e.g. medical and biological specimens to undergo routine screening tests or for the purpose of initial diagnosis.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Verpackungen zum Transport von medizinischem und biologischem Untersuchungsgut, vorausgesetzt, daß - das Nennvolumen des Probengefäßes bzw. der Probengefäße 100 ml nicht überschreitet; - bei mehreren Proben des Gesamtvolumen der Proben im Schutzgefäß 500 ml nicht überschreitet; - in der Probe keine ansteckungsgefährlichen Stoffe vorhanden sind, z.B. bei medizinischem und biologischem Untersuchungsgut für Routine- Überwachungsuntersuchungen oder für die Erstdiagnose.

Systèmes d'analyses médicales in vitro - Emballages de transport pour échantillons médicaux et biologiques - Exigences, essais

Cette norme européenne s'applique aux emballages de transport des échantillons médicaux et biologiques, à condition: - que le volume nominal de(s) récipient(s) contenant l'échantillon soit inférieur ou égal à 100 ml; - que dans le cas de plusieurs échantillons, le volume total de ceux contenus dans l'emballage de protection soit inférieur ou égal à 500 ml; - qu'aucune substance infectieuse ne soit présente dans l'échantillon, ou qu'une faible probabilité relative existe pour que des substances infectieuses soient présentes.
