Protective clothing for firefighters - Requirements and test methods for fire hoods for firefighters

This standard specifies minimum safety requirements and test methods for a fire hood worn by a firefighter whilst wearing protective clothing (EN 469), breathing apparatus (EN 136 and EN 137), and helmet (EN 443).

La présente Norme prescrit les exigences de sécurité minimales et les méthodes d'essai pour une cagoule de protection contre le feu portée par un pompier lors d'incendies et d'activités associées. La présente Norme ne s'applique que lors de situations nécessitant également le port de vêtements de protection (EN 469), le port d'un appareil de protection respiratoire (EN 136 et EN 137) et le port d'un casque (EN 443).
