Non-domestic direct gas-fired forced convection air heaters for space heating not exceeding a net heat input of 300 kW

This European Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for the safety of non-domestic direct
gas-fired forced convection air heaters having fully automatic control systems, hereafter referred to as
"appliances".
This European Standard applies to appliances of Type A2 and Type A3 with heat input based on the net
calorific value of 300 kW or less fitted with integral burners intended for use other than in residential dwellings.
It also applies to appliances designed for outdoor installation. For indoor appliances provision of the heated air
may be by means of ducting or may be directly into the heated space.
This standard does not apply to:
a) appliances intended for use in residential dwellings;
b) portable or transportable forced convection appliances;
c) appliances fitted with gas boosters;
d) appliances fitted with air/gas ratio controls;
e) appliances which incorporate a main burner having more than one section under a common burner
control, of which one or more sections may be extinguished whilst another section remains in operation.
This European Standard is applicable to appliances which are intended to be type tested.
NOTE Requirements for appliances which are not type tested would need to be subject to further consideration.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an und Prüfverfahren für die Sicherheit und Leistungsfähigkeit direkt gasbefeuerter Warmlufterzeuger für den nicht häuslichen Gebrauch mit erzwungener Konvektion und mit vollautomatischen Regeleinrichtungen (nachfolgend kurz "Geräte" genannt) fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Geräte der Bauarten A2 und A3, deren Wärmebelastung 300 kW (bezogen auf den Heizwert) nicht übersteigt, ausgerüstet mit eingebauten Brennern und die nicht für die Verwendung in Wohnungen bestimmt sind. Sie gilt auch für Geräte, die für eine Aufstellung im Freien vorgesehen sind. Die Abgabe der Warmluft kann bei drinnen aufgestellten Geräten direkt in den zu beheizenden Raum durch Leitungen erfolgen.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für:
a)   Geräte für Wohnungen;
b)   tragbare oder transportable Geräte mit erzwungener Konvektion;
c)   Geräte mit Gasbrennern mit Gebläse;
d)   Geräte mit Gas-Luft-Verbundregelungen;
e)   Geräte mit einem Hauptbrenner mit mehreren Bereichen unter einer gemeinsamen Brennerregelung, wovon einer oder mehrere Bereiche verlöschen dürfen, während ein anderer Bereich in Betrieb bleibt.
Diese Norm ist nur anwendbar für Geräte, die für eine Typprüfung vorgesehen sind.
ANMERKUNG   Anforderungen an Geräte, die nicht für eine Typprüfung vorgesehen sind, benötigen weitere Überlegungen.

La présente Norme européenne établit les spécifications et les méthodes d'essais relatives à la sécurité des
générateurs d'air chaud à gaz à chauffage direct et à convection forcée pour le chauffage de locaux à usage
non domestique, équipés de systèmes de commande entièrement automatiques, ci-après appelés
« appareils ».
La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux appareils des types A2 et A3 de débit calorifique inférieur ou
égal à 300 kW (sur le pouvoir calorifique inférieur) équipés de brûleurs intégrés destinés à être utilisés dans
des locaux autres que les locaux d'habitation. Elle s’applique également aux appareils destinés à être
installés à l’extérieur. La distribution de l'air chaud peut se faire par des gaines ou directement dans l'espace à
chauffer.
La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux appareils :
a) destinés à être utilisés dans un local d'habitation ;
b) mobiles ou portatifs à convection forcée ;
c) comportant des surpresseurs pour le gaz ;
d) équipés d'un système de régulation du rapport air/gaz ;
e) munis d'un brûleur principal comprenant plusieurs sections sous le contrôle d'un dispositif de commande
commun et dont une ou plusieurs sections peuvent être éteintes tandis qu'une autre section continue à
fonctionner.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux appareils devant être soumis à des essais de types.
NOTE Il pourrait être nécessaire de réexaminer les exigences pour les appareils ne subissant pas d'essais de types.
