Bar coding - Transport and handling labels for steel products

This document specifies the requirements for labels containing human readable and bar coded information for fixing to steel products for the purpose of despatch, transport, and reception in accordance with the requirements of ISO 15394. Data elements are specified together with their status, location on the label, the appropriate data identifier and choice of bar code symbology.

Dieses Dokument legt auf Basis der Anforderungen aus ISO 15394 Anforderungen fest, die Klarschriftzeichen sowie die strichcodierte Information beinhalten und die dafür ausgelegt sind, bei Lieferung, Transport und Empfang auf Stahlprodukte aufgebracht zu werden. Datenelemente werden in Bezug auf Status, Platzierung auf dem Etikett, Datenidentifizierer sowie die gewählte Strichcode-Symbologie spezifiziert.

Le présent document définit les spécifications d'étiquettes contenant des informations en clair et codées à barres pour apposition sur des produits en acier afin d'en permettre l'expédition, le transport et la réception, suivant les prescriptions de l'ISO 15394. Les éléments de données sont spécifiés avec leur statut, leur emplacement sur l'étiquette, l'identifiant de donnée approprié et le choix de symbologie.
