Luminaire performance - Part 2-1: Particular requirements for LED luminaires

IEC 62722-2-1:2014 specifies the performance requirements for LED luminaires, together with the test methods and conditions, required to show compliance with this standard. It applies to LED luminaires for general lighting purposes. This first edition of IEC 62722-2-1 cancels and replaces IEC PAS 62722-2-1. published in 2011. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the Publicly Available Specification. a) The testing time is aligned with IEC 62717 and the option of 2 000 h is removed. Products containing modules not in compliance with IEC 62717 are now tested to 6 000 h. b) Testing sample sizes have been modified to give valid statistical data. c) The temperature reduction of 10 °C for street lanterns and floodlights has been removed. d) Life definitions have been updated and aligned with IEC 62717.

L'IEC 62722-2-1:2014 spécifie les exigences de performance relatives aux luminaires à LED, ainsi que les méthodes et conditions d'essai, requises pour démontrer la conformité à la présente norme. Elle s'applique aux luminaires à LED destinés à l'éclairage général. Cette première édition de l'IEC 62722-2-1 annule et remplace l'IEC PAS 62722-2-1 (disponible en anglais seulement) parue en 2011. Cette édition constitue une révision technique. Cette édition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport à la Spécification accessible au public. a) La durée de l'essai est alignée avec l'IEC 62717 et l'option de 2 000 h est supprimée. Les produits contenant des modules non conformes à l'IEC 62717 sont maintenant testés à 6000 h. b) La taille des échantillons d'essai a été modifiée pour fournir des données statistiques fiables. c) La réduction de la température de 10 °C pour les lanternes de rue et les projecteurs a été supprimée. d) Les définitions de la vie ont été mises à jour et alignées avec l'IEC 62717.

Ta del standarda IEC 62722 določa zahteve glede zmogljivosti za svetilke LED skupaj s preskusnimi metodami in pogoji, ki so potrebni za preverjanje skladnosti s tem standardom. Uporablja se za svetilke LED za namene splošnega osvetljevanja.
Opredeljene so naslednje vrste svetilk LED.
– Vrsta A: svetilke, ki uporabljajo module LED, če je zagotovljena skladnost s standardom IEC 627171.
– Vrsta B: svetilke, ki uporabljajo module LED, če ni zagotovljena skladnost s standardom IEC 627171.
– Vrsta C: svetilke, ki uporabljajo sijalko LED, in so obravnavane v standardu IEC 62722-1.
Zahteve iz tega standarda se nanašajo samo na tipsko preskušanje.
Ta standard ne obravnava svetilk vrste C.
Ta standard ne obravnava niti svetilk LED, ki namenoma proizvajajo barvno svetlobo, niti svetilk, ki uporabljajo diode OLED (organske diode LED).
Te zahteve glede zmogljivosti so dodane k zahtevam iz standarda IEC 62722-1,
točke od 1 do 9, razen kadar so v tem delu 2-1 določene druge metode merjenja ali omejitve.
Glede na to, da se je ta standard razvijal in urejal hkrati s standardom za module LED, se lahko skladnost modulov LED z določili iz standarda IEC 62717 upošteva za celotno svetilko, kjer je potrebno.
Življenjska doba svetilk LED je v večini primerov precej daljša od preskusnih časov v praksi. Posledično ni mogoče preveriti proizvajalčeve trditve o življenjski dobi z zadostno mero zanesljivosti. Zaradi tega sprejetje ali zavrnitev proizvajalčevih trditev o življenjski dobi nad 25 % nazivne življenjske dobe (z največ 6000 urami) ni zajeto v tem standardu.
Namesto preverjanja veljavnosti življenjske dobe ta standard določa kategorije vzdrževanja lumnov pri opredeljenem končnem preskusnem času. Zato številka kategorije ne predvideva napovedi dosegljive življenjske dobe. Kategorije so kategorije znižanja vrednosti lumnov, ki delujejo v skladu z informacijami proizvajalca, ki so na voljo pred začetkom preskusa.
Za preverjanje trditve o življenjski dobi je potrebna ekstrapolacija podatkov preskusa. Presoja se splošna metoda projiciranja podatkov meritev zunaj omejenega preskusnega časa.
Za razlago meritev priporočene življenjske dobe glej standard IEC 62717, dodatek C.
Pričakuje se lahko, da svetilke LED, ki so skladne s tem standardom, na začetku delujejo zadovoljivo pri napetosti med 92 % in 106 % nazivne napetosti ter pri temperaturi zraka v okolici v obsegu, ki ga je določil proizvajalec.
Presoja se vrednotenje količine oddane svetlobe (LOR) za svetilke LED.

parallel vote and approved by CENELEC as EN 62722-2-1:2016.
A draft amendment, which covers common modifications to IEC 62722-2-1:2014 (34D/1147/FDIS),
was prepared by CLC/TC 34Z "Luminaires and associated equipment" and approved by CENELEC.
