Clear liquids - Estimation of colour by the Gardner colour scale (ISO 4630:2015)

ISO 4630:2015 specifies a method for estimating the colour of optically clear, yellow/brownish coloured liquid products by means of the Gardner colour scale using colour-measuring instruments. The method uses the Gardner colour scale described in Annex A.
It is applicable to drying oils, varnishes and solutions of fatty acids, polymerized fatty acids, resins, tall oil, tall oil fatty acids, rosin and related products. The results might be invalid if other products are tested.
The method described provides a more precise way of measuring Gardner colour than a visual sample comparison using human eyes. It is applicable to products having colours from Gardner 1 to Gardner 18. The Gardner scale is not applicable to products with colours darker than 18. For products with colours lighter than Gardner 1 the method specified in ISO 6271 applies.

Klare Flüssigkeiten - Bestimmung der Farbe nach der Gardner-Farbskala (ISO 4630:2015)

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren zum Beurteilen der Farbe von optisch klaren, gelbbraunen, flüssigen Produkten mit der Gardner-Farbskala unter Verwendung von Farbmessgeräten fest. Das Ver-fahren wendet die im Anhang A beschriebene Gardner-Farbskala an.
Es ist für trocknende Öle, Klarlacke und Lösungen von Fettsäuren, polymerisierten Fettsäuren, Harzen, Tallöl, Tallöl-Fettsäuren, Kolophonium und ähnliche Produkte anwendbar. Für andere Produkte können die Er¬geb¬nisse falsch sein.
Das beschriebene Verfahren erlaubt es, die Gardner-Farbzahl genauer zu messen als der visuelle Vergleich von Proben mit dem menschlichen Auge. Es ist anwendbar auf Produkte, deren Farbe den Gardner-Farb-zahlen 1 bis 18 entspricht. Die Gardner-Farbskala ist nicht anwendbar auf Produkte, die dunkler als Gard-ner-Farb¬zahl 18 sind. Für Produkte mit einer helleren Farbe als Gardner-Farbzahl 1 gilt die Methode nach ISO 6271.

ISO 4630:2015 spécifie une méthode d'évaluation, au moyen de l'échelle de couleur Gardner, de la couleur de produits liquides optiquement clairs et jaune-brun à l'aide d'instruments de mesure de la couleur. La méthode implique l'utilisation de l'échelle de couleur Gardner décrite dans l'Annexe A.
Elle est applicable aux huiles siccatives, aux vernis et aux solutions d'acides gras, d'acides gras polymérisés, aux résines, au tallol, aux acides gras de tallol, à la colophane et aux produits apparentés. Les résultats peuvent ne pas être valables si d'autres produits sont soumis à l'essai.
La méthode décrite ci-après permet de mesurer les couleurs au moyen de l'échelle de couleur Gardner de façon plus précise que la méthode par comparaison visuelle des échantillons à l'?il nu. Elle est applicable aux produits dont la couleur est comprise entre l'indice de couleur Gardner 1 et l'indice de couleur Gardner 18. L'échelle Gardner n'est pas applicable aux produits dont la couleur est plus foncée que l'indice 18. Pour les produits dont la couleur est plus claire que l'indice de couleur Gardner 1, la méthode spécifiée dans l'ISO 6271 s'applique.

Ta mednarodni standard določa metode za ocenjevanje barve optično čistih tekočih izdelkov rumeno-rjave barve z Gardnerjevo barvno lestvico in s pomočjo instrumentov za merjenje
barve. Metoda uporablja Gardnerjevo barvno lestvico, ki je opisana v dodatku A.
Uporablja se za sušeča se olja, lake in spojine maščobnih kislin, polimerizirane maščobne kisline, smole, talovo olje, maščobne kisline talovega olja ter z njimi povezane izdelke. Pri preskusu drugih izdelkov so lahko pridobljeni rezultati neveljavni.
Za merjenje Gardnerjevih barv je opisana metoda natančnejša od vizualne primerjave vzorcev s človeškimi očmi. Uporablja se za izdelke barv, ki na Gardnerjevi lestvici ustrezajo barvam v razponu med 1 in 18. Gardnerjeva lestvica se ne uporablja za izdelke temnejših barv od vrednosti 18. Za izdelke svetlejših barv od vrednosti 1 Gardnerjeve lestvice se uporablja metoda, določena v standardu ISO 6271.
