1.1 Dieser Teil von ISO 75 beschreibt eine Methode zur Bestimmung der Wärmeformbeständigkeitstemperatur unter Last (Biegespannung) von hochfesten duroplastischen Laminaten und gepreßten langfaserverstärkten Kunststoffen. Die Belastung ist nicht fest vorgeschrieben, wie in Teil 2 dieser Internationalen Norm, sondern sie ist eine Funktion (1/10) der Biegefestigkeit oder einer festgelegten Festigkeit. Dadurch ist es möglich, die Methode auf Materialien mit einem großen Bereich von Festigkeiten und Biegemoduln anzuwenden.

Foreword
IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide
federation of national standards bodies (IS0 member bodies). The work
of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IS0
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for
which a technical committee has been established has the right to be
represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental
and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. IS0
collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission
(I EC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are
circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International
Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting
a vote.
International Standard IS0 75-3 was prepared by Technical Committee
ISO/TC 61, Plastics, Sub-Committee SC 2, Mechanical properties.
Together with the other parts, it cancels and replaces the second edition
of IS0 75 (IS0 75:1987), which has been technically revised.
IS0 75 consists of the following parts, under the general title Plastics -
Determination of temperature of deflection under load:
