This standard only applies to type testing. The gas consumption of absorption refrigerators is of the same order of magnitude as pilots currently used on other types of burners, maximum being 60 g/h. Consequently efficiency measurement is not considered relevant for these appliances and is not covered by this standard. This standard does not cover the requirements.
