Fume cupboards - Part 2: Safety and performance requirements

This part 2 of EN 14175 specifies safety and performance requirements and objectives for general purpose fume cupboards. In addition, dimensions and marking of general purpose fume cupboards are specified as well as requirements on the product manual to be supplied with fume cupboards.
Recommendations on the evaluation of conformity of general purpose fume cupboards with the requirements of this part 2 of EN 14175 are given in the informative annex A.
For terms and definitions of fume cupboards  EN 14175-1 applies. For  type testing of fume cupboards  EN 14175-3 applies. For microbiological safety cabinets EN 12469 applies.
This part of EN 14175 does not address recirculatory filtration fume cupboards or fume cupboards for carrying out work on radioactive materials. For special purpose fume cupboards  other requirements may apply.

Abzüge - Teil 2: Anforderungen an Sicherheit und Leistungsvermögen

Anwendungsbereich
Dieser Teil 2 der Europäischen Norm EN 14175 legt Anforderungen und Ziele für Sicherheit und Leistungs-vermögen von Allgebrauchsabzügen fest.
Dieser Teil von EN 14175 behandelt keine Begriffe und Maße von Abzügen, für die EN 14175-1 gilt. Dieser Teil von EN 14175 behandelt nicht die Baumusterprüfung von Abzügen, für die EN 14175-3 gilt. Dieser Teil von EN 14175 behandelt nicht mikrobiologische Sicherheitswerkbänke, für die EN 12469 gilt. Dieser Teil von EN 14175 gilt nicht für Absaugboxen mit Luftrückführung, oder für Abzüge, in denen Arbeiten mit radioaktiven Substanzen durchgeführt werden. Für Spezialabzüge können zusätzliche Anforderungen gelten.

Sorbonnes - Partie 2: Exigences de sécurité et de performances

La présente partie 2 de la Norme européenne EN 14175 spécifie les exigences de performance et de sécurité ainsi que les objectifs des sorbonnes à usage général. En outre, les dimensions et le marquage ainsi que les exigences des sorbonnes à usage général sont spécifiées dans le manuel du produit fourni avec les sorbonnes.
Des recommandations sur l'évaluation de la conformité des sorbonnes à usage général aux exigences de la présente partie 2 de l'EN 14175 sont indiquées dans l'annexe A informative.
Pour les termes et définitions des sorbonnes, l'EN 14175-1 s'applique. Pour les essais de type des sorbonnes, l'EN 14175-3 s'applique. Pour les postes de sécurité micro-biologiques, l'EN 12469 s'applique.
La présente partie de l'EN 14175 ne traite pas des sorbonnes à recirculation ou des sorbonnes utilisées pour réaliser des travaux sur des matériaux radioactifs. Dans le cas des sorbonnes utilisées pour des besoins spécifiques, d'autres exigences peuvent s'appliquer.
