Iron and steel - Ultrasonic testing of H beams with parallel flanges and IPE beams

This European Standard describes a reflection method for the ultrasonic testing of H beams with parallel flanges and IPE beams for the detection of presence of internal discontinuities. Mechanised, semi-automatic or automatic techniques may be used but should be agreed between the purchaser and the supplier.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Reflexionsverfahren für die Ultraschallprüfung von H-Profilen mit parallelen Flanschen und von IPE-Profilen zum Nachweis von inneren Inhomogenitäten fest. Mechanisierte, halbautomatische oder automatische Techniken dürfen angewendet werden, sollten aber zwischen Besteller und Lieferer vereinbart werden.

Les techniques mécanisées, semi-automatiques ou automatiques peuvent être utilisées mais il convient qu'elles fassent l'objet d'un accord entre le fournisseur et le client.
